| If you ran a 7970, you could get a cheap Nvidia solely as a PhysX card, lots of people do it |

| BTW, the "ATi" name was removed, it's just "AMD" now. Now before you say I'm an AMD fanboy, I have owned both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. I solely buy graphics cards based on the performance v. price within the budget I have at that time. Sometimes it's an AMD card, other times it's an Nvidia card. Deathdealer96 is, in fact, correct about his statement. On the contrary, it seems like you're the Nvidia fanboy Look here: "If your main graphics card is an ATi card, then something very weak will be good enough. Generally anything with 64+ shaders will do the job just fine. The GT240 seems to be a very popular card, as is the GT430. You don't need anything more powerful than that. PhysX actually takes next to no GPU power to do the calculations" (erocker). That means that the GTS 450 will be more than enough for a dedicated Physx card. | Ok, I have a problem.
I bought a new graphics card and power supply recently and they are both installed inside my computer. The graphics card is not recognised however. Also, when I try to install the drivers it crashes my computer.
Any ideas as to what I could do to fix this? |
