I'm hopefully getting a PC for gaming at Christmas or sometime else in the future and I was looking for some advice, I've gone through lots of hardware choosing what I want and I just wanted to see if there are cheaper options or if I have missed anything. One thing I haven't decided on yet is a Graphics card. I know a bit about computers but not an awful lot so any help is appreciated.
Case - Coolermaster Storm Enforcer Mid Tower ATX Case - £67.98 CPU - Intel 3rd Generation Core i5-3570K CPU - £177.10 Hard drive -Western Digital WD1002FAEX Caviar Black 1 TB 7200 RPM - £76.26 RAM - Kingston 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM Memory (x2) - £11.63 Fan - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus Cooler - £29.25 Motherboard - Gigabyte SKT-1155 Z77-D3H Motherboard - £78.74 Power Supply - Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2UK Builder Series 600W - £46.99
So that's what I have found, like I said could you guys suggest a graphics card to me? I'm trying not to spend very much money but so far I'm up to £525.46 or $852.45 and that's not including the operating system, security and accessories.

I can say, that I have same PSU, which I bought one week ago, and I can confirm that this thingie is ultra silent. Also, you might need to invest in better Motherboard :O

gtx 680 sounds like a good price to me if you are able to put around $500 up front.

Is that $500 for the GTX 680 alone?

I would personally change the motherboard to Asus P8z77-lx. (Think I spelt it right). No point going for the gtx 680, you get 10 more frames for £100 extra.. the gtx 670 is a far better option. It depends out your willing to spend £300 on one. It is a bit of an investment.
I have the very same CUP and the graphics I just mentioned. On BF3 ultra settings I get around 70-90 FPS. I don't play on ultra though, it creates mouse lag.
Also, maybe change the ram to Corsair Vengeance 8GB. Its around £38 I think. It will last you longer than your 4gb right now too. With the items you have now plus what I have suggested will let you play any game inn it's highest for atleast the next 2 years.

If you'd like, I can PM you the link to everything i had recently bought (2 weeks ago) and you can decide on price ect from there? It is a nice build, if you'd like to make things a little cheaper I can help to some extent. GPU for instance can be cheaper

Have you been on Overclockers.co.uk?
There's plenty of good advice on there.
Fella I'm friends with has got AMD Phenom 2, CANT REMEMEBER what Mobo he's got, but he says the system runs like a dream and he can play everything on ultra.
Dunno how much youve got, but a Phenom 2 B/E is a quality budget CPU to build a good budget rig on.

Or an i5 2500k. I'm an 'Intel kinda guy'
AMD are slightly cheaper but (I think) run slightly warmer. Not an issue unless you want to OC

I hate you I want to get an SSD, probably around the end of next month or so. But my motherboard is SATA II, not III... ._. On another note, I have the same awesome PC case as you

Yes an SSD would be great for your actual PC with windows ect, what I was refering to is that if Zedap gets the rig he is thinking of getting, an SSD can't help you load the game faster as the servers have to load it too. If the servers are slow, you will be slow, if they are fast you will be just as fast with the rig he wants. I have the same CPU ect and I load as fast as anyone with an SSD. This is the games/servers fault.
An SSD is great for PC loading times though . Pretty awesome times there samanaslt!

Yes, most of servers loads longer then PC with SSD. But, still you will be first who loads up. And ready to go.
