Lets set up a registration deadline.

This way people can start organizing their teams and submitting them to us. But before we set the deadline, we need to set a start date.

How about this- Let's have two weeks of registration starting on the 1st of March.

Registration Deadline by the 15th of March
Tournament Start the 24th March

BTW we need to change the name... Squad rush Cup is kind of lame.

How about:

"Rush Hour Challenge"
"13th's Rush League"
"Double Rush-Robin"
"Annual Spec Ops League"

Alright, then I recommend summarizing what we have decided and starting a new thread with the details as the first post. Announce the deadlines.

Please be sure to send me the teams so I can start working on the scoring system and match making.

Make the teams come up with team names for easy labeling.

How would a team keep the same members as they might not be able to make all the days of the match?

I would have to say, choose your team wisely.... I don't think we can cater to everone's individual schedules... we would never get anything done.

We will have to put a clause in there regarding that very situation though.

Maybe set it up so the team can choose an alternate. Place a 5th gamer on their roster just in case?

matches should be done in the weeknd, pref sundays.
b/c its a league there's more room to find suitables times for both team.

If ppl really cant come use reserve players or have them match another team if possible or else postpone it

The same squad stuff wont work, specially since this is a "make your own team" tourney. Any four members in the BF3 PS3 platoon can get together, regardless of what squad they are on.

I think every team should only use 1 reserve player max per match. With more players per match the team isnt the team anymore.

If one team has like 3 guys on, and the other team 2 guys, the match between them wont happen. The team with 3 members can use a reserve should try to match another team if available.

If these options dont work then the match will have to be played out at a later date.

If this problem would occur several times and it would f&ck up planning for the rest of the league then we use a NO SHOW wich means that team automaticly looses.

Hey just a note: We tried making these teams of 4 and playing whenever--I'd say make all the matches every weekend or so at a set date.

cant be later saturday remember there is eu members as well

I think that we ended up saying that we would work around everyone's schedule, but there would definitely be at least one or two matches per weekend. But each team should have an alternate in case someone can't make it to a match.

The plan is to make this a long league type tourney.

Uh oh, I'm going to be busy with soccer tournaments for the next few months(including state cup) May miss some of the matches. I'll check the schedule and figure it out soon.
