| Hey everyone.
Recently, I've been designing and managing content on my YouTube channel, as I want to start to regularly post gaming content.
My YT channel will contain gaming content, and several segments in terms of game recordings, such as Live Commentaries, Narrative Gameplay, Reviews, Guides, and in some cases, Montages. However, I right now am only 14, and am not working until summer, which is also cheap labor, like $200.
In this case, I am looking for free recording and editing software. I need the best of the best, until I can manage to pay for actual software, and a better microphone.
Any suggestions? |

| Fraps free only does short videos and may have a water mark, cracked versions are easy to find.
I agree with movie maker :3 |

| {link removed} There's a torrent to the full fraps. It'll come in handy
This is a torrent for Camtasia Studio 7 (not that you have heard of it) {link removed}
And this is what i sometimes use: {link removed} Need a good computer to be able to effectively edit and render projects.
I tried finding a worked crack for Sony Vegas but it didn't work for me.
But that's just me, what stops you from doing it?
Hope this helped.

| use msi afterburner it dont lag like frap recording does but if for bf3 then use fraps all on the piratebay.org look for red or green skulls for safe software, as for publishing use windows live messengers windows live movie maker it compresses the movie for you vastly allowing you to upload to youtube much faster |

| For movie maker, I know windows 7 took that out of the features that came on the dvd disc so I think you can just download it for free off the microsoft site--couldn't tell you exactly where though. |

| It's part of the Windows Live Essentials pack. Just Google Windows Live Movie Maker. |

| Oh my. xD
But in all seriousness, Fraps (You'll need a good system), Dxtory (Need a fast harddisk), Bandicam (Overall less demanding) and D3DGear (Least demanding, but encounters odd issues here and there) are you best bets.
In terms of free trials, D3D offers a 15 day trial, but Bandicam lets you record 10 minutes straight with a watermark, which imo is the best of them all. |

| Building on what Quack 'ere said. I have used Bandicam a lot and have to say that you can use it easily and effectively. It's accessible and has many settings. So if you want to try video and audio settings that are more detailed than "Full Size" and "Half Size", then bandicam is for you although I seemed to have noticed that when recording with cracked fraps, you get better quality with less demand so you can have a smoother frame rate. But you still need a good computer to do it. |
