ok I just opened the other template files and seen there were a lot more color border rings to play with so i can do more when i get more time later.

just to let you know, the alternate name I am giving you is the official name the unit patch is coming from in the Corps. The Vipers one is my old Vipers unit they are versatile but you might consider using the actual unit names, just a suggestion.

Hm, You think you could shrink it down to 75x75 (thats what i think the current patches are), I'd like to see how they'd look like that

I went ahead and tried to edit both of them:

Current Patches are 72 X 79 I will make them all that size from now on

Also as a side project I took it upon myself to make a Clan sig at Pstats, with my Squads patch in it. If any other squad wants to use this sig, I can easily swap out their patch and save and publish them to make them available. Right now I left it Private in case you wanted input on it to tweak it to how you would want it to look etc...

I like them both, but:
If they are shrinked to the normal size, the text should be a bit bigger (the side and downside text).
Could you also add the guns? Like in this one
Final remark: contrast for the cobras should be bigger, so the text is readable.

Simply replace the GALLO%20INFLIGO with your gamertag, the %20 is a space BTW so if you have a space in your ID you need to have the %20 there instead of the space. If everyone likes this and does not want any tweaks made, edits etc, I will publish it and make the process a whole lot easier to add it But as of right now its a private one.

Yeah that would make sense--but we do need some people to make these patches. If you're interested in making some, spino prime has a template to use if you want.

Dude I don't think I am wrong since the Greeks founded Troy in Turkey but in the trojans wars the greeks and trojans fought and the trojans lost which made them sail far away and they founded Rome. I researched it before but I will check again.

BTW if any of you are interested in making it and have a little know how of what to do, here is a little rundown on what you do basically. This is paraphrased (by me) from Quack and Spino Prime:

Basically you get the 13th MEU template, find an image on google or bing and crop it out (if necessary, most likely it is), find the right color scheme for the patch (border and body), and put the text in over the top.

So if you can crop that image out, put it on a template, and have the template a purple/black/white scheme, i think it could work.


BTW, I think in recent times the biggest turnoff of newly created squad patches is the text. Make the text like what the current ones are. Make it thin like or make it Army-font or something
