| Was able to see it fly over my school today and witnessed the end of an era. Did anyone else get a chance to see the shuttle? |

| I didn't, but my father did. He works in Downtown, LA and it flew right over him xD |

Not entirely sure. I think it's either funding or we're looking at different ways of exploring space |

| The space shuttle was becoming old and expensive to maintain with its older technology, and NASA's losing money. They need to find new ways to get people to space, such as the Orion capsule, a cheaper more efficient space transport system currently in development. The Russian Soyuz is still going strong though. Btw I'm from Canada so I had no chance if Ewing anything. |
