Battlefield 2 offers kits that can only be obtained by getting an unlock 'point' by achieving a certain rank. Every class has an unlock and a special forces unlock. You can get them both even if you don't have the expansion but you must unlock regular unlockable first. If you do have the expanion you may get the special forces unlock whenever you have a point. You can unlock a new weapon on every rank and including lance corporal through master sergeant and another one at master gunnery sergeant. If you have the special forces expansion you will also be granted an additional extra unlock point at each rank that gives you one for a total of two unlocks per rank that grants them. The unlocks for each class are listed below in this format: class- regular unlock: SF unlock

Well I'm comin up on my first two unlock points (yes, I have SF expack). I'm probalby going to get the F2000 and the G36C I'd also like to open discussion on for people who'd like to tell us their favorite unlock.

you have to unlock them in order no0b lol so you have to get the G3 before you can access the F2000, they're not all open for unlock, have to unlock one first, then the next. check out bf2s.com for some solid guides on this stuff.
my personal favorite is the L96A1, super accurate, as well as the G36 guns.

I did check out the site and it says that special forces unlocks can be unlocked without the first tier if you have the special forces xpack (which I do).

it appears that I have read wrong... you must have special forces AND have first tier unlock to get special forces unlock. It has now been changed above.
I'd also like to open discussion on for people who'd like to tell us their favorite unlock.
