| So today the RPK was released for the Medic class. It unlocks at level 22 and costs 2K funds after unlock. It has very high damage, low accuracy, medium range, a fast reload and 40/4 ammo. More info here. |

| A drum mag would not set it apart from the rest. If it did, it would lose on of its key selling points. It's an LMG you can basically use as an assault rifle. Now I am telling you now, it handles very much like my AEK but not as bad although there is less power.
The MG36 will beat the RPK in most circumstances though. Especially long range. The recoil on the RPK is just too much to quickly, yet accurately take out targets from afar.
In close range, it fairs a little better. The fire rate is reasonably quick though not as quick as the MG36. The thing is, in Close Range, the recoil urges you to aim for the head, often killing the target a lot quicker. But, if you don't have either of these and are stuck with the MG3, yet planning on buying an LMG for your medic, choose the MG36. Although mainstream, it does its job well.
So think of the RPK as an owner's club kinda gun. It's rare now so you might feel special using it. But honestly, there are better options than this. Apart from looks. The RPK-74M is by far one of the prettiest guns in this game. Best looking LMG hands down. And that's what your getting, aesthetic appreciation. |

| I bought it just so I could add it to my collection Nahh, but everyone has their own opinion. You never know, what one person thinks is a pile of rubbish could be another man's gold! it's just down to perspective. |
