| Please only use this thread for orders discussion, general discussion use the other thread.
On the 3rd March 2012, a squad consisting of 2LT Trister, SSGT Nmd, CPL Deathdealerrr and PVT Avril will be inserted into the Gulf of Oman to perform a reconnaissance mission in anticipation of the 1/1 BTL, 1st Platoon, Squads Falcon and Crusader operation in the area (Henceforth known as Task Force Stallion). They will aim to scout an insertion point, which can be reached from the US Nimitz Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) aircraft carrier which shall transport Task Force Stallion to the Gulf. Initial intel suggests the enemy have 4 positions, they will then aim to scout suitable assault routes to these positions, while maintaining at least a 100m distance from the enemy as to avoid detection.
The intel recieved from this Recce will be posted here and an initial plan of action will be included as and when the Recce has been completed.

| Yep, it is still in voting, you won't absolutely know for sure until one of those days hits at least 13 people. Edit: - Code:

| We've looked through the map, and although I'm waiting on Avril with the graphics, this is the basic plan:
Insertion will be at the far left of A, we will then move up towards A, using the rocks as cover, a fire support section will then give supressing fire upon A, while a section flanks to the right.
For B, the 2 story building is a priority, one section will place c4 on the bottom wall, while another will wait on the stairs to the second floor. Grenades are to be thrown into both floors, and AS SOON AS THEY DETONATE, the C4 should be blown up, giving entry to the bottom floor, while the 2nd floor team will move up.
For C, one section will go round the back (Furthest away from A) of the rightmost line of buildings( towards B), they will then assualt the 3 story building, clearing all floors before JUMPING onto the roof of the 2 story building and moving down through to clear that Another section will do similar for the other row of Buildings
At D the objective is to just clear the building closest to A (past the crane when coming from C) before returning to the extraction point.
We can have a day to practice this on the map as it is hard to do in just writing, and there will be extra time allocated for things such as staged camera shots on the day

| Hey, so does anyone know the exact time of this? Cause it's 7th already, and the closest date is 10th and it has most votes.. |

[img]http://i41.tinypic.com/yhqpu.png[/img] rough outline of what we went through that day. I think perhaps this Saturday or Sunday we'll run through them once before or after practice... So I don't think we'll be able to do this on the 10th. Apologies. Will add your PoA to main thread. Working on another, better picture. Will update. sozzee. ;D |

| I think we can use Saturday as a dry run for the real op, so people know what to do |

| This is what I had thought up. I think it would be good to have a small opposition for that "awareness" effect.
The enemy will be whatever is left over after a complete squad is filled. So if 10 players, it would be 2 squads ( 8 ) + 2 enemies. The enemies' objective is to hold onto the bases for as long as possible doing whatever it takes. Once the base has been captured and cleared, enemies can no longer re-take that base and must hold onto the next.
Going on 10 players, 2 boats of 8 or 1 venom of 3 on stand-by and 1 boat of 5 will hit the shores of A. The 2 enemies will allow the squads to approch the barrier. Once the squads are up to the barrier, there will be a slight pause. Commander will give guidelines (orders) to the Squad leaders on how to execute Clear & Capture. The Squad leaders will have 30 seconds to communicate between themselves to determine the rest; who goes where does what. The movement of the players need to be Bound & Cover. (think leap-frog, 1 covers the other's movement past you, then covers you to move past them). Once 30 seconds is up, the game is unpaused and the squad leaders must give orders to their squad and execute, ready or not. During the execution, squads are to communicate amoung themselves giving intel and recieving orders. The squad leaders must communictate amoung themeselves giving intel and coordinating efforts. If it is determined to use the venom, the squad leaders would have the ability to call in air-ground support from the commander once the game is unpaused.
During Clear & Capture, squads move in and the enemies can kill how ever many, no C4 or 320's or RPGs. Enemies can only use RPGs on vehilces. You'll be able to spawn so long as there is a way to do so. Once you are unable to spawn at A, the enemies will spawn at B and wait, patiently. Enemies may use medpacks and revives. If the venom is not in use, Squads can use medpacks and revives. During the use of a medpack, the injured can not move until fully healed. If the venom is in use, neither the medpack or revives can be used. If dead, you can only spawn at the carrier and only be transported in by Venom when cleared by the commander.
Once the confirmation of Clear & Captured has been relayed to the Squad Leaders and then to the commander, the commander will pause, give guidelines to the squad leaders and allow 30 seconds for the squad leaders to communicate with themselves about execution. Unpause and the squad leaders relay the orders to their squads and execute once again to Clear & Capture B.
If it is determined not to use the venom or attack chopper, then 2 boats will be used and the remaining players will need to wait for the boats to respawn to get to A as a form of reinforcements. If it is determined not to use enemies, then we'll just group them up with the squads.
I have the other Captures planned out, just saving you the reading. lol!
What do you guys think. We can do this, deathdealers/avrils, or a combination of both.

| I'm fine with whatever, but nmd and I had some interesting things for 'staged' video shots of the operation, but we can do that outside the actually op itself |

| Yeah, I think all the "staged" shots will be done before and/or after the OP. |

| I think we've agreed that this weekend's practices will include a dry run of what will happen. So, we'll test out the current plans and then open the flood gates to the rest of the clan. |
