How many times have you guys played without recording your games while you're completely shredding? Well today was one of those days for me and not only was I ecstatic about how well I was doing, I then realized I wasn't on camera and was pissed! THREE TIMES in one round I took out the Havoc with the MBT tank using the default missile rounds. Then the following round I start playing with my buddy and I get not only 1 more heli kill, BUT I TAKE OUT A FUCKING JET. So now, not only am I EXTREMELY EXCITED, I'm FUMING at the thought having not been recording.


I use Fraps usually to record my games and I record at 30FPS with fullscreen. Is there any other programs that you guys know of that is better?

Once on ps3 bf3 I got a jet and heli in one round and more recently I got a heli from a 1/4 map away

I usually use fraps as well but I only really used it in Assassins Creed lol.

Anyway alternatives to fraps... I've heard of dxtory. From what I gather it gets input from the hardware rather than the software and that means less frame rate reduction when you're actually playing. I think it features multiple harddrive writing so I suppose if you have more than one harddrive you can ccapture movies faster and with less strain on each or on your system.

if you got nvidia graphics you can use nvidia msi afterburner it has no lag and records audio too i user it all the time

goto http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm and download the afterburner and server install both the in settings pick a record key and good to go

the server is for the recording it auto starts when you open the afterburner


does not work well for bf3 as bf3 is completely stupid for some reason but perfect for playforfree and all other games apart from bf3
