| Image by: Trister 13th MEU Newsletter - Feb '12Written by: SSgt TristerIs Everyone Taking Exams?Exams, exams, exams... a lot of members are taking exams. I guess it's that time of the month, no not that one. Although, exams could get some people cranky, moody, and irritable. If you haven't a clue you should put down that controller and go find yourself a girlfriend; a real one, not a blow-up or pin-up. To the exam takers, good luck! Let The Battles BeginThe Battlefield PS3 platoons are gearing up for their "Chaos Cup" tournament to be held on Feb 18th 7pm GMT. The Hunters, Warlords, Zulus, and Brass will be going head to head in 4 SQDM rounds in a battle to be champion, and a whole lot of temporary bragging rights. We wouldn't want this to go all year, or would we? If interested, be sure to speak with your Squad Leaders. More information can be found in this topic where you can also vote who you think will claim Champion. We had the Falcons vs. the Crusaders (BF3-PC) recently and one a couple weeks back. Their first attempt failed due to lack of participation but, the action of the last two seemed to make up for it. Falcons are coming out strong with 2 wins under their belt making the Crusaders in need to step up their training. We'll have to wait for the next one to see if the Crusaders can pull out of the ditch. The Seminoles (BF3-XB) are taking a stab at GameBattles over at MLG but, not off to a good start being 0-2 however, we know you can do it and hopefully still having fun at least. The Marauders are still going strong with high activity and lots of practices and trying to entice the Eagles for a match. Let us see if the Eagles accept the challenge. Also who can predict how much coffee and bathroom runs Ranger does this month? Not too much going on in the Easy Company (CoD) with exception to the Barracudas getting their practice times set. The Deathdealers (BFH) have returned although not as strong as it once was. 13th MEU Hits 3,000 Registered MembersWe've had around 85 new applicants this past Jan and around 60 of those have passed Boot Camp. Congratulations and welcome to all the new members. Top recruitment is still for BF3 (68%) and the PS3 (40%). Source of new recruits are through Forums by far and it is why bumping the forums (within the rules) is important. So keep up the great work on recruiting through the forums, in-game, or from wherever it makes sense. Awesome job guys! On The Personal SideThe Colonel (aka Bronx) has been going around the clan participating in squad practices for BF3 PS3, P4F, and BFH. He's pretty pleased with members' participation, feels very welcomed, and experienced dedicated Squad Staff bonding with their Squad Members through teamwork-oriented drills and games executed with an "All in" approach and attitude. Mekline seems to be back in full force with his 100s of postings after losing his internet connection for some time. The forums seemed quieter without him. Now he's back, he's returning to the battlefield to hunt some dog tags. ThanksFrom splintercellsz to TwistedEvilWill and Insevin for helping determine the best practice times. From totalwarrior6780 to Awulle for "arts ing" every single practice and attending other squad's practices as well. From Ranger to the Marauders' members for doing their job and busting arse to have fun and to be active. Is there anything anybody would like to share that has happened in the past month? Feel free!

| lol what are you saying Jester, too many to handle, can't cut it? When I was sitting their counting all the freak'n recruits and passed tests, I was like, where are all these people. It sure doesn't seem like we have 60 new members. I assume only 25% (more or less) which would be around 15 members actually go on to become active members. I can see 15 new members across all of 13th but definitely don't see 60. |

Bathroom runs this month: 72 (2/hr, 3hr practice, 3 practice/wk) ... and thats just during practice times You have to separate Coffee and bathroom. Very rarely does he take care of both of them in one run |

I actually tried to find that post but failed. Think it might have been deleted. That was funny stuff though. Hey I forgot to ask you, did you try reading the "fake" articles on the image again? |
