Police are trained to shoot center mass in order to prevent the Suspect from being able to fight, or a round hitting a bystander. Thats why you do NOT proceed towards officers in an aggressive manner. Same to the kids that point Airsoft/Paintball weapons at officers, and are killed because of it.

Seems those were non-lethal rounds just by the way he went down. But yeah, you make a move towards an officer, you're going down, or dead.

I see nothing wrong with this honestly, the suspect lunged towards the officer, and they prevented any (more?) innocents from being injured.

yea but they could have shot him in the arms and legs ... but people ..criminals like that should be exicuted ...population control..wht if that man harmed one of your family memvers or children

the value of a life? depends, hell of alot for the one giving, not much for the one taking..

I know what you mean ECO, but if he was Tazed, and was not affected, wounding him would not gone over well. There have been to many cases where the wounded still had the ability to fight, and comtinue to do harm. In this situation, going lethal was the best route.

I think the officer made the right choice, i would shoot some one who lunged at me like that. They obviously warned him and tazered him with no affect so that was the next step, the guy shouldnt have been there waving that bar around tbh.

What is so unacceptable about what the Officers did in this video?

They were approached by a deranged person, who was intent on harm. By ending his life, they potentially saved the bystanders in & outside of the Resturant.

Kudos to those men in uniform.

The police officers did what they were supposed to do. Its easy to analyze and criticize after the deed is down, in the heat of the moment your instinct kicks in to protect yourself and those around you

0:35 he ignores the warning, and refuses to put his hands up as being told to.

0:38 he's receiving a tazer to the face, and simply pulls the cables out..

0:44 he makes a very aggresive move towards the officer.

In my opinion he deserved all the 11 bullets he received. In my country, we had a similair incidents a few years back where such an individual already caused injuries to people before they finaly shot him down.

Yeh in Uk police don't shoot people unless it's like something huge
