Warm-up Round:

Commences: 30 minutes prior to official match
detail: Pistol round
Map: Operation métro
mode: Team Deathmatch
Infantry: only

A reminder of good old times on Counter strike! In these pre-match warm-up rounds players will engage each other with special Rules of Engagement, namely Pistols only! This round is for bragging rights only, and doesn't have an effect on the actual end-game score.

Rules of Engagement:
Primary Weapons: none, you may not use any of the primary weapons, including PDW's
Secondary weapons: You may use any Semi-Automatic pistol, this means the G18 may not be used.
Secondary attachments: you may not use Tactical Light or Laser Sight on your weapon, you may use such a weapon in the game but are not allowed to turn the effect from these addons on, Supressor is not disallowed. ( example: you may use a G17C, but may not use the laser sight ingame )
Beneficial items: Health-kit, Ammo pack, Defibs, repair tool and Mobile spawnpoint are allowed. Any other item is not allowed ( including C4, Mortars, SOFLAM, RPG's and others)

This round will be played for as many rounds as possible until aproximatly 5 minutes before official match time, regardless if any team has won more rounds then the other.

The attackers will descend from the Damavand Peaks! This will become a harsh war of attrition, since the defenders have to slaughter a massive amount of 75 enemies to defeat the enemy, will they survive this round? It is possible for this round to end in a draw, but we do not want to drag this on for to long.

Mode: Conquest ( small, not large, 3 flag version )
Infantry: Only
3 rounds

Conquer Tehran for your squad! The team that defeats the enemy twice will be declared victorious in this round.

map: Noshar Canals
Mode: conquest ( small, 3 flag )
Vehicles allowed

Conquer the Canals for your squad! there's a few heli's and apc's for your team to use! The team that defeats the enemy twice will be declared victorious in this round.

Mind that we cannot server enforce all the rules set here, Especialy the pistol round ones. So common courtesy is expected. Between every round, there will be a 5-10 minute break to allow trister to reset the server and adapt the new rules for the next round

Hmmm good idea. We should get together and work out the details.

It will be vary taxing on our PCs to play BF3, record, and stream all at the same time. I know LiveStream you can record incoming video. So we all, those who can, should create a LiveStream account and connect with the 13thmeu. From there we can record all incoming video and stream, alternating between views.

Only thing is, we need a "video producer" to swap video feeds during the match. I certainly won't be able to ALT+TAB to switch videos because I'll be concentrating on beating up the Falcons mauhhhhh!!!

Plus all the videos will be in one place to be edited later. I think we should have a "video Editor" contest. The best video would be featured on the front page.

But, we should do a test run for LiveStream and PC performace while doing it. I have access to the LiveStream Video console, so we can try this out anytime after 5pm EST if noone else is available.

Although the server, well all server, are unable to be Unranked, but we can password a ranked server, so we are good, and we'll get experience for it too.

Kizton has unfortunatly designed, either we could pick up a reserve from the crusaders, or continue the match in a 4v4 mode.

Vanhoucke, unfortunatly I did not get my new hardware yet. This means I cannot fraps or livestream this event for you
