Server may be cancelled end of Jan!

Amazing. O.o No more random servers!

So there was a problem yesterday where it was kicking all of us off the server. I read this could be due to a problem with PB. EA released an update that is being tested right now. But on top of that, it may have also been caused by incorrect configuration. So i re-adjusted the settings.

Instead of the round starting with just one player, now you'll need 2 to start the round.

Please try the server with multiple players and see if it kicks you out. If it still does, it may be the PB issue.

The server was actually full today, it was fun playin on it with the other clan members

WOAH! People? On the server? This is unheard of.

It was up until yesterday. We've had the server for about 3 weeks 5 members is the most it has ever seen. So yeah, if there are a few of you, please jump on the 13th to bring some players in. After a while some may favorite and it'll fill up by itself.

Next week will be a month since we've had the BF3 server. The public doesn't use it at all unless we jump start it, which we have only done once, and we really haven't used it for practices.

I'm going to give it until December and if the status remains the same, I'll either drop the slots from 64 to 16 or cancel the server all together.

Change it to a specialty server instead of all maps, like all infantry or all plane maps. TEMPORARILY until people start to put the server in their favorites.

Could try that. I've tried rotating the maps manually because it doesn't move unless it's played and tried different modes. So maybe a specialty one. I'll set it up and run it for a week.

it seem to be running. they did have an update to R9. I restarted it, try it now. if you want to change maps, in chat, type in, @nextlevel see if that works for you.

One of the rules to BF3 Server access is that, If you are not using or controlling the server to disconnect. There only needs to be one server admin at a time. The more people connect the slower the console responds. So Please, disconnect when not in use.

By the end of this month, the 64 slot server we have will be chopped in half to 32 slots.

I'm thinking, that since the server isn't populating, that it be set to unranked so that any member can just jump on and practice flying, driving, learn the ins and outs of maps, or just clown around and not have it count against their stats. Another question to this would be, should we set a password for it? Or shall we continue trying/hoping to populate the server?

When nobody is playing, throughout the week for example, change the map to 100% Operation Metro Conquest with 1000 tickets for either side. Keep the name the same but this will get people to start using it, and hopefully FAVORITING it.

What I see on the servers at the moment are operation metro with 1-10 people waiting in line for them.

And why do people love this map? Close Quarters and its the best way to get experience with revives, kills, and etc.

Of course we'll need a few people to help get it off the ground, but once people start favoriting it we won't have to.

So I logged onto ClanForge today and see the page completely revamped. Currently it seems to be in beta mode but everything or most everything has been changed around.

I'll try to learn it as quick as possible and post some guidelines, "how to" kind of things.

But you can go back to the classic look (upper-right button)

EDIT: Apparently with the new clanforge, I'll have to elevate SA's and non-CoC's permissions in order for them to be able to set rank/unrank.
