I just might buy another copy of BF3 for PS3 or XBX, or rent it from GameFly which they probably won't have available copies for months.

This should be the most epic tournament ever. Vigrin never does anything small, they usually go all out. Having 1.6m in cash prizes proves it.
This will probably be the biggest tournament ever, wait, it is the biggets tournament ever in prizes at least. I would be shocked if they don't get at least 1,000 participants.
I've already signed up. I just need to rent BF3 for one of the systems and practice. I wonder if I can rent it since it requires a code. Maybe I'll get a used copy.

DoTA 2 "The International" already had 1.6m in prizes. The next LoL tournie is 5M.

I stand sort of half corrected. Althought Virgin/EA/DICE isn't the first to have a tournament with 1.6 million in cash and prizes, this will be the first for an FPS game and will probably bring in more than just 16 teams.

Yeah, but those teams were hand selected by Icefrog. It wasn't a you can enter if you want tournie.

Should probably start setting up teams for this!!!! I wouldn't let this pass you by. I might even rent or buy a copy for one of the consoles.

They are open for Pre-registrations. I haven't seen a date anywhere yet. I would think soon though.
