| Well as some of you may know, my gaming laptop died a while ago, so been forced to use this crappy desktop that barely can do anything. My funds are kind of low at the moment, but I'm hoping to get a laptop by at least the middle of the fall semester. I've searched around and found some. Let me know what you think? or if you find other good ones please post First of all here's what I'm looking for: Budget: ~ $750, no more than $800 Processor: ~ Core I5/I7 (2nd gn), or AMD equivalent Ram: 4 GB and up Graphics: ~ Dedicated (of course ) preferably NVIDIA, but Radeon is fine as well Screen Size: 14"-16" Other: Webcam, overall design looks nice, 10 key pad (if you can find one with it) Here are the 3 ones I found: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230089http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834214190http://goo.gl/qFrzv => Had to shorten this URL because it was long o_o. Site's are safe so click without any worries lol So basically, out of these 3, which one would you pick? And also consider customer support efficiency if you've had experience with them. Any input is MUCH APPRECIATED

| lol well the reason I want a laptop is because I can take it with me to class Good luck trying to set up a desktop on those small little desks we have in the lecture halls xD As far as MegaMax's suggestion, the graphics and maybe the processor aren't up to par with what I need :/ Along with using my laptop to game, I also do CAD work and some programming, and the rendering takes a decent processor to complete without slowing the machine down. It's a nice machine, but nonetheless not for me. Noone likes the ones I put up there? :O |

| The first two are some of your best choices. I just recently bought a laptop, but more towards 1250$ lol. It depends if you like ATI Radeon stuff or nVidia stuff, as they will be pretty equal to each other in terms of graphic card power.
I own a ASUS and love it, and an ASUS motherboard for my desktop, I love them. I also hear tons of great stuff from Toshiba stuff, so at this point it's really up to you, as you've picked some of the best for your budget.
I recommend the ASUS one, as its processor is considerably better though. And has better reviews on Newegg(My one and only electronics site.) |

| Why not build a gaming PC, and buy a small laptop for class? 'cause you don't really need a gaming laptop for classes, unless you're rendering stuff or something equally as demanding. For ~$800 you could build a capable desktop rig aswell as buy a ~$300 laptop for class, you could even consider getting a second hand one to save you a bit of wonga too.
Take note, it's rare to find a gaming laptop ~$800. At least a capable one. |

| Yeah I have to render CAD projects and stuff in my classes, so its easier lugging around a laptop than a desktop Thanks for the input guys! I'm going with the ASUS, now to just get all my funds situated haha |

| CAD===> Dell precision laptop. Bought one 5 years ago, still performs decently (will cost you a small fortune for the top end one) |

| Problem is, the value of the GT 540 is... um... dubious. If you can find a similar laptop with a GT 550, it would probably be a better deal. |
