| You say you cannot find a stream site for the Sony event. But right on the Playstation Blog it says that they will be streaming it live directly to the Blog. - Quote :
- You’ve been requesting it, so for the first time, we’ll be broadcasting the entirety of the PlayStation press conference directly into this Blog. Additionally, we’re setting up a mini-studio in the PlayStation booth, and we’ll be bringing in developers while the show floor is open for interviews, live demos and to answer your questions via a built-in chat module. It all starts right here on June 6th.

Also, here is what I am looking forward to at E3: Looking forward to a few games at E3 this year, the main ones being: Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, Trackmania 2, Spec Ops: The Line, Dead Island, Starhawk, RAGE and BF3. There are also some other ones I am interested in, just not as much, mainly the Jurassic Park game (loved the first and third movies and I am interested to see what Teltale will do with the game) and The Old Republic (I like Bioware and Knights of the Old Republic was great, but I hate MMO Subscription Fees). However, more then anything else, I look forward to the rumored WipEout game. There has been constant talk and hints towards a new PS3 WipEout game and they already announced that one will be coming to the Sony NGP, but no details have been given out. Hopefully I get an announcement at the show. Out of all the conferences, I am actually most interested to see what Nintendo has in store this year. Announcing a band new console is rather interesting, and I wonder what the thing will actually be like. Next would be Sony, as I love the PlayStation, and if there is going to be a WipEout reveal, it will be there. Plus the NGP (or whatever Sony decides to name it, which will probably be revealed during the event) looks freaking bada**. Rather disappointed that Valve will be a no show. Episode 3 is starting to look like the natural successor to Duke Nukem Forever, now that DNF looks to be actually coming out. Valve said they were moving to an Episodic model for the Half Life series for 3 reasons, those being: shorter games, cheaper prices, and more frequent releases. Guess which of those 3 didn't happen. Its not hard and I will give you a cookie. Can't say I am too interested in the Microsoft event. It will probably end up being devoted to Gears 3, and Kinect, neither of which interest me. Plus it doesn't help that I am a PS guy anyway (though I have a 360). So yeah, I am totally ready, and pumped for this year's E3. It is looking to be a far batter show then the admit-ably disappointing affair last year. Lots of good games to show off, and a sense of mystery that wasn't there at the previous event. |

| I tried searching for the list to post this to instead of making another thread. Searched by first using E3 but the search said it was too short and nothing came up using "E3 2011". Guess I could have sifted through the forums.
From seeing all the other websites and how they had a page ready, PlayStation's page threw me off. I didn't think that would be the page they would use to stream from. |

| Check out the update on the first post above including the whole show of microsoft and EA. As well as clips of trailers and gameplay.
Thus far, as a whole,I believe EA put on a better show than a microsoft. microsoft was mainly about their kinect. while electronic arts, for most of their show, was a on screen live play of battlefield 3I believe they could have presented it's better in showcasing all elements of battlefield 3 . elementz such as helicopters jets soldiers vehicles boats tanks infantry excetra. instead the majority of their show, was a live play on the level utilizing tanks. even with that the effects are outstanding and I can't wait for this to come out |

| Wasn't a Fan of the MS event. It was just like I had expected it to be, no surprises what so ever. I don't like bing web search so, why would I want an xbox version? YouTube support? Why not just put IE on the 360? Needing to update native apps like that can cause issues. It took months before Apple fixed their YouTube app to use to new rating system, but until then it was broken. I don't see how this would change here. YouTube web app > native.
And really Halo 4? What ever happened to finishing the fight in Halo 3? And many of the games they showed, were just multi platform titles anyway. I was suprised by one thing though, and thats how great the kinect voice controls looked for Mass Effect 3. In most of the other demonstrations, kinect looked more gimmicky. But in ME3, it actually looked useful, it enhanced squad control without getting in the way of the game, which I appreciate.
EA's one was more interesting to me. Battlefield 3 is easily the best looking game ever developed, and damn, that multiplayer trailer looked awesome. Organized combat both inside and outside of structures, and tons of targets, destruction and scale. It looks like everything I would want in a Mulitiplayer shooter. Mass Effect 3 still looks great, and the trailer for the Old Republic was pretty cool.
Also, in your list of Microsoft Highlights, you write "Mindcraft" but do you mean "Minecraft" I know Minecraft was briefly mentioned during the press event. |

| Man, the Sony show... the PS3 section was a bit disappointing, was expecting some more games to be announced for PS3. But man, Dust 514 as an exclusive is MASSIVE, I have been looking forward to that one for a long time, and now getting to see it has been awesome.
And man, the PS Vita... horrible name, but the stuff we saw was the exact opposite of horrible. The games lineup Sony was showing, was impressive to say the least, I did not expect the full on assault of Sony franchises that appear to be coming to Vita. From Uncharted to WipEout, LittleBigPlanet, Modnation Racers, that new RPG, and of course the announcement of Resistance and Killzone games coming later on, plus Bioshock, Street Fighter, and some sort of Dust 514 Vita version. The line up looks like some of the best support I have seen in a while. Plus, the price is right, 250 is the price of the 3DS and Sony is putting out the Vita, with superior technology, out for the same price, and so far a better looking lineup.
Although the Vita support was great, again, not enough PS3 announcements, and the lack of new PSN features was a bit of a drag on the show, but I think it was good overall. |

| I was fine with the amount of PS3 announcements, mostly because of SLY. TRUCKIN'. COOPER. That is honestly one of my favorite game franchises and I was so excited to hear that they had made a new game I also liked the Vita demo, even though I probably won't be getting one. I also liked how they incorporated Kobe Bryant into their demo for NBA 2K12, the venue was perfect to bring him in to show off the game. I thought Sony did a fantastic job with their press conference, but Nintendo has arguably the biggest headline tomorrow with their new Wii (with lack of a better name), so I'd like to see how that pans out. Cheers! |

| Wow, the new WiiU (where do they come up with these names) looks to be a good NexGen platform. The one thing that drove me away from Wii was their graphics in comparision to 360 and PS3. They always seemed to have lower poly counts and that just didn't make for a good looking game. I am impressed at the graphics quality of the WiiU. I just may trade in my Wii for it.
I believe there is something there for the Kinect. It is the only console that can be played controller-less. I found it amusing watching some non-xbox people in chat during the Microsoft presenation, stating Kinect was trying to be like Wii. Any bias person would quickly realize it is PS3 and Wii that are similar with their "air" contorllers. Kinect does have some work ahead of them in tweaking the new technology although, it would be nice for them to add in a controller for more functionality.
Xbox is still nonexistant in the mobility department and it's either already to late for them to join in, or they don't feel it to be the next thing. |

| In looking for new stocks to buy, I came across a Seattle Times article saying that Microsoft plans on adding Skype to Xbox Live. I could see a benefit in that.
Although I still can't understand why they would add Live TV if you still have to subscribe to a cable provider. Apparently Microsoft sees a benefit in giving me a decision on whether to watch TV through my cable box or Xbox. Maybe they'll include DVR function and I can get rid of my $16/month one. Who knows where they are "trying" to go with that. |
