For those who have clicked on this you may be wondering what Motorama is. Motorama is an R/C, motorcross event in the Eastern part of the United States. It happened the weekend of February 18-20. I took part in the R/C racing part of this event and boy was it fun!

Friday was practice and I was getting used to my new electric buggy. Saturday was the heats. The first heat I got 9 laps in 5 min. . The second heat I got 10 laps in 5 min. ! And the third heat I got 9 laps. So Saturday was a good day for me considering how well I was doing for my first two days of running my electric buggy. Sunday was the heats. I was in the D main. I started third. Got off to a great start and stayed in 2nd most of the 7 min. race. Then came the final lap. On the backstretch I collided TWICE with the same buggy and he was my TEAMMATE!! So then I tried to make up for it but, I missed third place by one second.

SO, even though I finished third, I beat all of my teammates that were in Motorama which was a great accomplishment for me. Only two other teammates made it farther than me out of the 6 of us. So was it worth it. DEFINITELY. And I am totally looking forward to this year of racing with my new electric buggy.
