No problem, just doing my part. I try to see people who make posts for people lookin for a clan, but by the time I check, they already posted several hours ago and had multiple other clan responses lol. So Keeping the thread bumped up will get more people to recognize

That's fine

I think what really works is not necessarily how much we bump it but how many people we bump it with. That's why I want EVERYBODY to help us out in the thread. The more people will stir up more discussion than just me going "bump" 5 times in a row.

What kind of message would work to recruit thought. Something like this?

Or thats too generic... and should I avoid certain persons or answer any and let the application and bootcamp serve as filter?

In my opinion a generic reply sounds too impersonal and can be intimidating at times. Usually when I reply, I try to make it sound as if I'm talking personally to the recruit.

If your bumping in the 13th thread, try to make it interesting. Include a picture, or comment on how great a practice went something like that. If a recruit has a question on how to join or any other question, answer please!

If your bumping on someone else's thread searching for a clan, give a little background on what the 13th is all about (this can be generic) but always address the potential recruit by their name, and try to make it sound as if your really asking him to check us out, not as if it is an automated response Maybe we should come up with how to word the generic part?

That's just my take on it though.. lol

Oh and another thing, this will be the stuff actually on our recruitment thread so no link to the actual recruitment thread is needed

I'm seeing a looooot of players asking for clans participating on the tournament... I'm trying to ignore those. That's correct?

Well, we want them, but you can tell them spots are filling up fast (for spots in the tourney)

Is there anything I can do to help with Bad Company 2 recruitment? I really want more people

I was thinking maybe I can try to invite some of the random guys that join squads, but I don't know if I am "charismatic" enough to attempt that lol. Maybe I just have to start talking a lot more on squad chat and wait until I "connect" with someone.
