| I was thinking of working on a "playbook" and posting sections of it in the Training Academy. Each post being exclusive 13th MEU possible offensive and defensive set ups for a map. Each play would have its own awesome name, and be open to call "audibles" depending on that unique combat situation. First thing I need is if anyone can find me links to large clean images of the over view of each map so far in F2P. I will draw and post certain movements with stats to each move, and have it open to suggestions for changes. And of course debate on the possible cool unique name for that play. Also, if anyone else has great tactical team plans they regularly use for those maps, hit me a message or let me know here, so they can also provide earlier input before posting. I think this will help us work together better in game, and also teach new recruits great tactics. I know I'm not the only one who plays battlefield and just yells "WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING?!" lol |

| Seems like a pretty good idea. Similar to the Master Tactics thread we had for the BC Division a while back.
The Training Academy section is for member created courses, which need to get approval from CoC before being posted. But from what I read, instead of creating a course per say, you are more like compiling a list of tactics for different scenarios/maps, correct? |

| I have a tactic for BFP4F (it's not really complicated):
- Divide your squad in 4 groups (my squad has prearranged FireTeams), - Let very group take 1 point, - Then make a defensive line facing the opponents base which is at the point closest to the opponents base.
E.g.: (will add picture later) |

| 16/4=4 so four people trying to defend a flag is pretty difficult if a hole team comes to attack But then again if we manage to bother the hole enemy team at one flag then we handle the game.. After all we are the 13th MEU aren't we |

| 4 people don't defend the flags, it's like this: You have to quickly start the battle to get all the points as quickly as possible, And when you have them you form a defensive line like this:
Enemy base
XXXXXXXXXXX<---- Defensive line A
B C
D
Our base |

| Oho that's brilliant... really!! And we can set fireteams positions for that line of defense!!! Really impressed now.. several plans are spinning my head round |

| Lol I (tried to) explained this exact thing in xfire today . But seriously this isn't brilliant, a 6 year old could think of this. |

| Well all that time I am thinking about having preset position(and I am thinking of every cover possible both at karaknd and oman for both sides) for every member and fireteam it the "Line Of Defense" It might be simple but I didn't understand this in xfire.. that's why I am so impressed Gonna draw some lines at the images above now |

| Thanks, and that you didn't get it in xfire is understandable because I don't think anyone got it :O (guess I'm not that good at explaining things without images).
But you also might be able to make a map with all the covers and the facing of it, that will be a great help (but also an awful lot of work).
Btw: at the Karkand map is point C missing (the fountain). |

| I have another idea but it isn't finished:
- Again grab as much ground as you can, - Put ATmines and claymores everywhere and make all kind of little ambushes (e.g. A few ATmines and claymore guarded by an engineer and a medic), - By doing that making it terribly hard for them to advance and cap points, - When they have a point and have moved on, simply recap it as they are painstakingly trying to advance. |

| Here are the defended for Oman (if you have all points): For Russians: Basically the whole beach . For USA: The Road from Ru base to C (this must be heavily guarded) and the route from Ru base to B (on the left). Combine this with the AA from B and D and you have an almost impenetrable defense. |

| Thanks for everything so far guys, I'm workin on a few things now. And yeah, its impossible to find a good map for Sharqi. Only one I have found is the full zoom out on the whole map, and the small section they use for it in the game maps it look horrible when I have to zoom all the way in lol |

| I must admit I didn't really understand that tactic either you must find a way to explain it with images to me because I don't get the difference between your first and second tactic... I thought it was the same except that the second had claymores and RPG |

| The first tactic is about gaining as much ground as you can and the mak an impenetrable defense, like this:
Enemy base
XXXXXXXXXXX<---- Defensive line A
B C
D
Our base
But the other one is about gaining as much ground as you can and then set up multiple small ambushes to stall them as long as possible and mak them pay for every inch, like this:
Enemy base X___ X_ X __X A___ X OOO -->* Will be explained later X__X_ X__ X _B C _X X X _ X D
Our base
*is a force that will encircle the main force of the opponents and crush them while they are fighting all those small ambushes, after that it will quickly recap any lost territory and set up new ambushes. |

| this kinda focuses on one on one combat though, from past clan expirence, working in groups of teams work best |

| Well it's more 2-16 , it focuses on small ambushes and stalling the opponents. Because 2 men can stall a lot longer (per man) then 16 (per man), just stay in cover and they won't advance and when they have you encircle them and start again. |
