| Hey clan, have any questions about your computer, hardware, etc.? Well, you're at the right place. Welcome to... Ask Endrane! It works like Ask Chuck or Answers.com, you ask a question and I answer it A.S.A.P. You can either reply to this with a question, or PM me if it doesn't seem that you should reply it (don't ask me what that means). 1 Condition though, this is the reason it is posted in the Informations Technology section. You can only ask about things related to your computer, how it works, whats inside it (hardware), etc; because frankly, I don't know why your kitty seems to be attracted to you. One more thing, this computer guide might answer some of your questions. It talks about hardware. I hope you ask! I'm looking forward to helping all of you guys out. Have fun, and learn! Or else I destroy you.
Edit: Everyone, please stop spamming. It will make it easier to communicate and get anyone's questions answered faster and more efficiently. Don't brag, *cough* about your RAM *cough* or anything else. Thanks everyone. Happy Holidays!

| Well, to get more RAM, I need to know what type of RAM I have. In that case, how do I know what type of RAM I have? Because it did not say so in the dxdiag report. Thank you BTW my comp is at least 7 years old (maybe older) so that might help. |

Thank you

Mostly everyone here has SDRAM. The other common ones are DDR and VRAM. DDR Ram is also used in computers, but video RAM is associated with graphics adapters and video cards. Here is a picture of RAM Cards. Just give me your computer's model or motherboard, I'll find it quickly. But I really am guessing it is a 168 pin SDRAM DIMM |

| This is your computer's guide. Scroll a bit down to see it's specs. According to it, yours is DDR RAM, 184 Pin. That's pretty good! But I advise you to never think about getting a new graphics card on that system, the motherboards video slot is AGP x8, the oldest. The 2.8 GHz is spectacular, but AGP Graphics cards probably won't get you anything better than what you already have. Here is a 512MB 400MHz DDR RAM Card for ~$20It should be great, stating that it has a built-in heatsink! No overheating |

Depends, if your router right now SUCKS, probably. But I highly doubt it. Internet speed is capped (limited) by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you'll have to order a faster speed to make it faster. |

It won't, computers don't get that hot. What do you want to do, slam it into the RAM cards and use it as a holder xD |

| Do you mean static as you hear a static noise? Or you broadcast static and other people hear the static? |
