6/ The End.
1/ Introduction.Hello there, My name is Tommy(from Thomas) from Cassadors squad, as you guys no(mostly the people I play with) I play alot of battlefield heroes.
When i went on today on BFH on the 13th meu server as a gunner. I saw alot of gunners(both sides)who kept dying whole the time costing me and the enemy alot of tickets.
They were just playing the game"shoot me first! i wanna die". Needless to say they died within the 5 seconds.
That's not the way to play gunner! We aren't just meatshields, we are meatGRINDERS. MOAR RAGE FOR MEATGRINDER.(
)
I'm here to show a few different playstyles you can go with, i'll even tell you my combo to succes.(the one i'm using)
If your already familiar with the weapons and skills, you can already skip part 2 and 3(thougt you'll miss my comments on the weapons
)
I'll also keep in mind the use of VP/BF.
----End of introduction----
2/ What weapons to take on the battlefield.I'm now going to give you my rating to all the weapons the gunner can use.
1: Rudi's rediculous/Maxwells machinegun. 4/5,
Ammo count: 110(the fewest of all machineguns) with a medium rate of fire.
This weapon is the starter weapon of every gunner.
It excells in Midrange combat but is actually good at any range(this means it's a good jack-of-all-trades)
This is actually the best starter weapon of all 3 classes.
VP cost:free
BF cost:free
2: The backscrather/the cheeser 5/5
Ammo count: 130(Most of all the machineguns)with a High rate of fire.
This is the bringer of chaos in whole the world. When you see a topic about "nerf gunner" in the BFH forums the backscrather/cheeser is ALWAYS in the post.
This gun excells in Shortrange combat, it's ok at midrange and is useless at long range.
This gun is always includes in my ways of playing, you may find it noobish but you can replace this gun for the rudi's.
But my combo's wouldn't be so effective as with the backscratcher.
VP cost: 150 for 1 day and 450 for 3 days.
BF cost: 145 for unlimited time.
3: Wolfgang's wonderful/ bernies bone chewer 4/5
Ammo count: 120(in the middle of all machineguns) with a low rate of fire.
This gun is underestimated whole the time. Everytime i'd take it out, it attracts more enemy's.
This gun excells in longrange combat, isn't as good in midrange but is almost useless it short range(duo to low rate of fire and low damage at short range)
This gun is almost always in my setup, it's great to shoot commando's at a big range(not to big ofcourse) and for a nice trick on verhicle maps.
VP cost: 150 for 1 day and 450 for 3 days.
BF cost: 145 for unlimited time.
Sidenote for Uber/super machineguns: i'm not going to discuss them because they only have an increase on critical hits but the prices are:
VP cost: 450 for 1 day and 1350 for 3 days.
BF cost: 210 for 14days 280 for a month and 560 for unlimited time.
4: Steiner's shotgun/ hubles double trouble 2/5
.
Ammo count: 10(uber/super version has 13)with an medium rate of fire
This is your second starting weapon(next to rudi) i'll be honest with you, dump this already. It's not of any use on your gunner.
It excells at shortrange, and it's ok on midrange. don't bother on long range.(it's a shotgun duh)
VP cost: 150 for 1 day and 450 for 3days.
BF cost: 145 for unlimited time.
Super version VP cost: 450 for 1 day and 1350 for 3 days.
Super version BF cost:210 for 14days 280 for a month and 560 for unlimited time.
5: Friedrich's flyswatter/ Steward's shotgun.3/5
Ammo count: 12(uber/super has version has 15) with a high rate of fire.
I'm not a big fan/user of shotguns but this one is the best of all.
it's excells at small range, but sux *** on midrange and longrange.
It's fits on a specific type of gameplay but not really on mine.
VP cost: 150 for 1 day and 450 for 3days.
BF cost: 145 for unlimited time.
Super version VP cost: 450 for 1 day and 1350 for 3 days.
Super version BF cost:210 for 14days 280 for a month and 560 for unlimited time.
6: Uwe's overpowerd/ The slugger 0/5
Ammo count:8(uber/super has 11) with a low rate of fire.
This weapon is a piece of ****.
Really? A LONG RANGE SHOTGUN, was EA high when they made this gun? GOD.
Alright sorry, it excells at long range it's ok at mid range and sux in close range.
Almost never seen somebody use this, it CAN be usefull in some circumstances but any
weapon would be better than this.
VP cost: 150 for 1 day and 450 for 3days.
BF cost: 145 for unlimited time.
Super version VP cost: 450 for 1 day and 1350 for 3 days.
Super version BF cost:210 for 14days 280 for a month and 560 for unlimited time.
7: Faust's panzefist/ Tankbuster 5/5
Ammo count:1(reloads after every shot) with a low rate of fire (duo to reloading speed).
This is a gun EVERY gunner needs. on Vehicle maps and infantry maps.
It's a good anti-tank weapon(duh
) but can also be used to blast enemy's away.
If you hit then directly, then you deal a good amount of damage and launch to enemy to the
moon.
The uber/super version does slighty more damage to infantry, but it's totally not worth it to
buy it.
VP cost: 150 for 1 day and 450 for 3days.
BF cost: 145 for unlimited time.
Super version VP cost: 450 for 1 day and 1350 for 3 days.
Super version BF cost:210 for 14days 280 for a month and 560 for unlimited time.
----End of:What weapons to take on the battlefield.----
3/Skills and how they work. Here i'm going to explain the skills and how they work, i'm also giving my rating to these skills.
1: Hero shield, 4/5
This is the starting skill of the gunner. It's not bad, it allows you to take some more damage
then normal.
If you activate this near teammates your teammates will get a shield too.(yours is blue and a
teammates is yellow)
The more skillspoints invested, the more HP the shield will have, increasing the duraction of
the shield and decreasing cooldown periode.
2:Frenzy fire 5/5
O dear, i'd better be carefull now, because this is the most hated skill ever(sinds it got buffed).
This skills increases your accuracy of your machinegun and let's you heal for every 4th hit on an enemy.
This baby, in combination with the cheeser/backscrather will insure you of a quick heal and a kill(if used in shortrange ofcourse).
The more skillpoints invested, the better your accuracy, increasing of duraction increasing the amount of HP healed every 4th hit and decreases cooldown.
This skill is the only way for a freeloading gunner to heal as bandages are way too expensive.
3:Leg it 4/5
Very usefull skill which allows you to...what do you think? Walk faster.'Nuff said
the more skillpoints invested, the longer the skills works and will decrease the cooldown.
4: Explosive keg. 3/5
This skill throwns a keg full of explosives and booms after 5seconds, you can also detonate it with a good aimed shot of the machinegun/bazooka.
It slows down the enemy's it hits and damages them.(ofcourse
)
i'm no big fan of the kegs, it feels like wasted points but some people are really pro with it.
The more skillpoints invested, the more damage it does, and decreases cooldown period, also increases the Booming radius.
5: I eat grenades 3/5
This skill can be a great assist of your team and yourself, but only on certain circumstances.
This skill allows you to eat every thing which is made of explosives(grenades, Kegs, tank shells, TNT, Troop traps, and even airplane bullets)
Every eaten explosive gives you a little bit of health.
Only put 1 point in this, more points are a waste(though i will explane a specific way with more points)
----End of:Skills and how they work.----
4/tonics/widgets(requires some BF or alot of VP)In this part i'll write about all the widgets in this game. As we all no there very expensive for VP and very cheap for BF.
(You can skip this part as it isn't essensial for being a good gunner).
1: Bandages 4/5
If your hurt and no medic is nearby to heal you, this widgets heals you(as gunner) for about 75% health over time(this means every second +19health).
Any damage stops the effect of the widget and i mean EVERYTHING.
2:Wrench 2/5
The same like bandage but for vehicles. It's heals your vehicle faster, then a bandage will heal you, again every type of damage stops the wrench.
(with the exeption of the Tank, the wrench only stops if only anything damaged the tank so like explosives etc.) I don't really like it for personal reasons.
3:Fireproof underwear 1/5
Not really worth your money, it will only decrease burning bullets damage to 1dmg every 2 seconds(by healing almost the same ammount of Hp to counter the BB).
You will need to restock many times if you want to keep using it.
4: Health tonics 4/5
The ussless junk of the supply drop, for me it isn't.
This bottle gives you approx 50 hp back in 1second.
This is handy when your shield and or FF is out, it gives you that extra boost of hp you might need.
I also use this when i have about70-110 hp because I don't want to waste a bandage.
5: Sarge's stamina boost 2/5
This gives you +10max HP(means you'll have 160Hp at the start/respawning)
Not really helpfull, it will stop 1or 2 extra bullets but that's that.
6: VP boost 2/5
This doubles the ammount of VP gained from everthing(EVEN MISSIONS!)
but if your an bf user(which you are because els you can't buy this) this will be useless to you.
7: XP boost 3/5
Will increase XP gained by 150%(X1.5).
Don't really like this, i'd rather do it the long way
.
8: Throwing knives 1/5
This throws a knife at your enemy doing approx 20 damage, and you are ennabled to do headshots with it.
This is only handy for movies because it takes alot of valuable time to thrown it and it easly misses.
9: FALCON PUNCH 4/5
This punch widget allows you to blast ONE personne in the air, handy for knifing commando's but it can only blast 1 person at the time.
It doesn't allow to punch vehicles(wasn't it a FALCON PUNCH ffs).
10: Fuel bomb 2/5
This is a red gas can which explodes after 5seconds(or an well aimed hit from anything).
It doesn't do the same damage as a keg but it will put people on fire.
Handy note: it also lits the person in a tank on fire.
Though most people will see this can coming and can be avoided easly.
11: Fuel for the jetpack 3/5
This widget allows you to fly(like a rocketjump).
It doesn't move you to far and should only be used when being overwelmed.
Required the jetpack(in the store) to work.
----End of:tonics/widgets----
5/ Different playstyles.i'll be explaining some different gunner styles and i'll be telling, what points to put where.
1: The Tank.
Nobody pushes the tank! It will become clear to the enemy when they'l see you.
This build will include how you'll become a fortress and be enabled to hold and cap points under most circumstances.
Pro's
-Allows you to stay longer in the fight then most gunners.
-You'll use less bandages/tonics when using this.
-Best as a point capper/defender.
Cons:
-Your slow,(a tank is slow) so that's you main weakest point here.
-You won't be enabled to advance with your team(because of your speed).
-Requires some skills to master.
Weapons:Rudi's redicilous/maxwells machinegun, Wolfgangs wonderfull/Bernies bone chewer and Bazooka
Skills on level 30: 5/5 Hero shield, 5/5 keg, 3/5 i eat grenades and 3/5 Frenzy fire.
-Use your shield when fighting most enemy's, don't forget to throw a keg in the middle of battle!
-Using your frenzy fire for healing on enemy's who aren't watching you, or if your shield/Keg fails to kill the enemy('s).
-Use I eat grenades to give you more time to kill a tank, also use this for Grenade spam, kegs and airplane bullets.

Your Jack, and there is nothing that can beat you! because you got all the things to take on everthing BFH has to offer.
Pro's
-Your equiment is set to take on every type of battle.
-Great assist to any team.
-Great for any player, from newbies to pro's.
Cons:
-Though you can handle yourself in any situation, you won't be SUPER good in anything specific.
-Don't expect you'll be invincible, like all builds this one can be counterd by any other SPECIFIC gunner built.
Weapons: Rudi's ridicilous/Maxwells machinegun, Wolfgangs wonderfull/bernies bone chewer and a bazooka can be handy but isn't required..
Skills on LV30: 5/5 hero shield 5/5 legit 3/5 Frenzy fire 2/5keg and 1/5 I eat grenades.
Not too much tips for this, just use the right skills for the right time.

Now the 3th and final style(my personal favorite and the one i'm using right now)
--->The MeatGrinder V3.01<---
This is the bringer of chaos and hell to any enemy, you'r ready to take this ****?!
This style is focusing on: SLAUGHTERING ANY NOOBS OR OTHERS WHO ARE IN YOUR WAY OF TAKING THOSE FLAGS.
Or: Your team sux *** and you'll need to do everthing whole by yourself. That means your not going to help you friends at all.
If your going for this style, be sure to put on rock/metalica because it brings you in the right mood.
Going for this style will require some Battlefunds to bring it to a higher succes.
This setup requires fast aiming/responding speeeds and skills of the battlefield an terrain.
Don't expect things like: 20/0 (only if your noobbashing) but more of a 15/2 you'll see when
you'll try:P.
Weapons: The backscrather/The cheeser, Wolfgangs wonderfull/bernies bone chewer and a
bazooka is advised.
Skills on LV30: 5/5 hero shield 5/5 legit 5/5 Frenzy fire and 1/5 Keg.

-Your ELO and KDR will grow.
-You will have Respect.
-You will get a godlike status(getting minions
)
-You will keep ticking after taking a beating, your the terminator now man.
Cons:
-Don't let your godlike status stand in your way of skills, YOU STILL WILL DIE ANYWAY(by luck, or overwelming numbers).
-Costs some BF/VP to maintain
-you'll get called a hacker(alot
).
Equipment(for Battlefunds users or VP users who can effort widgets).
