We finally get into a match and it was decided earlier in the week no spawn camping and no c4 of Mcomms. We attack first but told them we would notify them when we begin and then to start their defense, otherwise hang tight. We notified them, however they had already set AT mines and defensive positions. We got zone 1 handled, however they got us in zone 2. On defense they range Alpha (to be expected) and C4 Bravo. WTF George WTF?!?!?!?!? They continue to C4 the harder of the two objectives until they finally win. Axx spoke with them afterwards and asks WTF George WTF?!?!?!?!? They said they decided to use C4 and supposedly told us earlier this week. Did anyone get that TPS report?? I sure as hell didn't. Oh well. So we made it clear, no spawncamping, but c4 was allowed. Now its our map...Valparaiso. We are attacking first and notify them that we are beginning. Using C4 this time, we wipe the floor with them, BIG TIME, yet they start to spawn camp...WTF George WTF?!?!?!?!?!? Axx sends a PM asking them WTF George WTF?!?!?!?!? They said that we started early and thats why they were spawn camping. OK so now C4 and spawn camping is allowed. We can roll with that. Our defense of Valparaiso is about to start, and they want to revise the rules to not allow spawn camping. I tell Axx to tell them not just no, but HELL NO!!! They wanna roll with despicable practices they need to be prepared to suffer the reciprocation. I already had Bipolar Tree and Ghost ready to do a little camping. But alas we never got to defend. So out of 3 games played we only won 1, however we wouldv'e gotten the attack on Arica Harbor had we known C4 was allowed.

Technically we won as they forfeit the match due to spawn camping. While there may have been confusion regarding c4 Exploits on the objectives, spawn camping was clearly a no no.

I would note, even though they say we started Valparaiso early, looked like they had again begun to fortify their base. Maybe they wanted to be as well prepared as they were on the start of arica harbor.

When I asked why they had spawn camped, they admitted they had and defended saying we had started early, even though I sent them a PM "we ready - here we come". Besides, there are much easier bases to defend on Valparaiso than the 1st base. Playing by their rules AND being spawn camped, we rolled over them.

Not sure what rules we should consider in the future. Some people are just bad losers. However, while we were losing the 1st game, and then the 2nd game due to C4, [13] stayed honorable. OohRah!

Their actual in game behaviour wasnt too bad, crazy. As in, no T Bagging or other such douche baggery. However I dont want to scrim with them because I don't want to be associated with two faced bastards.

Were they even "good"? I mean, challenging?

ehh... well, i mean, on valparaiso they sucked against us. but on arica, they were pretty tough. but alot of that had to do with the fact that we were trying to beat them without the use of explosives on the mcomm, which has become my preferred method of mcomm destruction. we definitely gave them a fight when we were defending, i just don't think we were expecting their bastardly and two-faced use of c4.

took forever to get started, which had nothing to do with either clan. ea was just bein a queen B again.

so we get into arica harbor and as others said, they said for us to signal them when our team was all in. same for them. like tiger said, they had full defense set up. sucked, but we still rolled them on the first boxes. second boxes, no c4 so we did get held. otherwise, we would have made it past that with i'd say probably 50 tickets left. getting A in that section is retarded hard. they were good defending it. their entire team on that area seemed to be engineers and medics. i only got to stab 2 of them in that area. crap....

so we defend...yep, they range A pretty good, of course, just about everyone does. they c4ed the rest of B with the uav. <<<=== i think some of you forgot that but i watched it from that mountain right there. they get right past the 2nd boxes just fine c4ing A. and B? well B is easy. basically when they couldn't set a charge, c4 was their next choice. A at the train wasn't too easy for them to get to, but alas, there is c4 on it. imagine that. i only got to stab 2 different guys in this area. i got one of them twice, totaling 3 stabs that round. pukes. i felt we held them well at the end and they had to work just to get in there. but once in i won't even tell you what they did, you know....

so a discussion happens and axx tells us it was miscommunication. pfff i say. shananigans. so i thought the case was okay, anything goes with c4 on valparaiso but no spawn camping. awesome. so what happens? we stomp the ish outta them. yes, they tried to spawn camp anyway. sucks for them cause i stabbed 2 of them. haha. i act like tiger and be ninja right back.

maybe i'll try and hit up that [USA] clan. they seem pretty good. i wish i could rememeber the one that hit me up for a challenge. i look for that clan tag to try and jog my memory but i haven't seen them in forever. it was back when i first started in 13.

i must say to all that showed up, thank you. we had a great turnout of people available. when we had some spots open i sent some invites, but some didn't bother to join. not sure if they were upset they didn't get in at the beginning or not, but ehhh. sorry we couldn't get everyone in.

couple of other notes on this whole thing. 13 held it together professionally, communication was there, and we had a positive attitude. of course until you taste sour grapes wrapped in dead fish smothered in used kitty litter.

-we were outnumbered by 1 for most of the battles (vic dropped due to power issue, we picked up someone, then scopes dropped and we were 1 down the rest of the night)
-to start arica harbor we were playing around and before we even started our team suicided about 5 tickets while they set up defense before we even rolled out. to me, if you get a chance to set up defense to your discretion, NOBODY should make it past that first area.


when we went into regular public rush after these afggots we did really well. we did have a challenge defending a couple of times, but it was good. i saw 0 flaws in the 13th's night. if we can stay together like this i think we have a great presence in this game. i've had others hit me up in game that they've seen us before and we play good.

Yes I was very proud of our demeanor through this event. Sucks that the results were what they were, but we'll gettem next time. On a side note, I did take some notes on how they advanced in zone 3 and it was pretty interesting. I will have to get with Crazy on the maps to detail it out.

BTW... I believe Ghostbeer and I might have been one of the epic T90 Tank teams of all time. We lasted a really long time defending in the 1st base didn't we Ghost. There has to be a ribbon in there somewhere.
