| We want the brightest and best representing us, the 13th, out on the battlefield. For example, that was the reasoning for my making of the How to be a Commando Guide. So, I was wondering what techniques work best for you all on the battlefield. Some of mine are... - Capturing Roadblock first in Victory Village (you can spawn there, and it's easy to defend)
- In Midnight Mayhem, don't stay close to the rocket, set a a perimeter (if you do stay close, explosives and commandos will kill)
- On Buccaneer Bay, if you can capture ship, but not town, then stay close to the ship, and pick them off as they come in. If you can capture town, not Ship, then do pretty much the same thing, but make a perimeter, since town is strategic and useful, but easy to be snuck up on. If you can capture both, choke off the passages from the enemies spawn and pick them off as a group.
- Last thing: Snipers from town (when you capture ship in Buc Bay) are annoying. Use snipers from the ship to help gain position, place more snipers in better locations (like the rocks by the ship), and take them out.

| My biggest pet peeve is commandos that do not counter snipe. As the solo, damage dealing class it is your responsibility to seek out the other commandos and kill them before they kill your team. |

| mine would be:
1. go to roadblock aswell (with my soldier) divide the group with my blasting strike and kill the first one this gives you an advantage
2.in midnight mayhem stay behind the things to the left of the rocket so when they try to capture it you can throw grenades or massive invasion (also possible)
3.on seaside skirmish try to get plane at royal uncap and fly high so i can search for the national plane to kill it and the try to take on of their tanks i guess.
4.at buccaneer bay go to a hill and shoot with my long range pistol and then sneek up at town from the back |

| Also try to fly very high cause that gives you an advantage cause you can look down but not up so if you spot the enemie plane you can see hime but he can't see you, so then a quick dive and get behind the plane. Then shoot a lot= BOOM!!!!!! and you have mostlikely a kill unless he bails and if he do that you just have to be happy with the exp.
Also if you hit water very softly with your wheels you bounce back up a bit, enemie planes who might follow you can get in the water because of this and then you have an easy target. |

| Nice strategies guys! I'll add some of my own:
For Buccaneer Bay(as Royals):
When the game starts, I get in a jeep and take a hidden road to the Mansion(the National's starting base). The Nationals never see me coming, and nobody is there to defend it since they all went to the main flags. Once I take the base, I get in one of their tanks and head to the shipwreck. It's an easy capture, gets your team another tank, and could give your team an advantage from the start.
For Midnight Madness:
I stay behind the wall closest to the rocket. I can shoot enemies near the rocket and people who are shooting from the opposite side with my long range pistol. It's also easy to hit enemies near the rocket with grenades or the grenade spam ability from there. If you're not defending the rocket, it's a good place to back-up teammates trying to take the rocket or to run out and take it yourself.
Tips: When people on the other side of the rocket use abilities or widgets that give off light(like piercing shot, burning bullets, bandages, etc.) you will be able to see their position and, if they're not hiding, their silhouette. Take advantage of this to take them out. |

| You know what i aways do on sunset showdown as my commando?
I go in stealth, fly to outpost ( when i'm royal ) take a tank, i sit in the f2 position and i wait till somebody takes a plane and then with one good aim kabam 1 kill + 190 exp.
you need some patience but if youre team has every point except outpost people always want to escape with a plane, but be warned, crouch when you're waiting ot they might notice you and don't use this trick more then 2 times in the same tank cause then they'll probably trow dynamite on you.
About your buc bay tip ponkool, it isn't bad but maybe a little bit dangerous, one tank shot and you're dead, so if you are too fast or an afk player suddenly comes online, then i'm afraid there is a 90% chance that you'll die ( 50% if you're a stealted commando ) |

| True, it is risky. Remember to use the sixth sense ability if you have it. Luckily, if you take the right path, you shouldn't run into any tanks.
Btw, that's a really good tip for sunset showdown! I gotta try that |

Btw, that's a really good tip for sunset showdown! I gotta try that yh i did that once for a whole round XD but if they try to destroy the tank and you can't flee try to stab them cause else they'll kill u immediatly but it's a really fun way of killingbut don't forget to crouch when in f2 else they'll see u |

| Mine is never charge up to the enemy or it will get you killed. Shoot far shots at them and keep on moving side to side so they won't hit you. Let them come to you and then you can go aggresive |

| Ok I keep ending up playing with downsy commandos and it is angering me. Here is the list of things I feel that commandos are only good for:
1. Stealth Capping- especially in MM. 2. Taking out other commandos- Commandos need to focus their full attention on the enemies' commandos first. As the damage dealing class it is your job to take out the characters hurting our team the most. COUNTER SNIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's it...
Being a commando isn't that hard, especially in competitive play. No one should need to take mark target in competitive play because of voice communication and teamwork. Instead focus your abilities on what will allow you to deal the fastest/most damage, period.
In my opinion their are 2 setups for competitive commandos:
1. With a Sniper rifle (in order of when I feel you should take them) 5 stealth 1 elixer 5 PS 4 elixer 1 troop trap
2. Without a Sniper rifle(in order of when I feel you should take them) 5 stealth 1 elixer 5 troop trap 4 elixer 1 doesn't really matter
And never use the SR or MR pistol. |
