Hello fellow clan mates ^^ on September 1st EA released the new battlefield 2 patch v1.5, I switched, the new patch comes with 1 new map (which is ftw) called Operation Blue Pearl, it also comes with 2 of the xpacks for PHR33 armored fury and special forces, the patch takes quite some time to download but the patch it self is quite nice. In order to install the patch you must have v1.41 otherwise it will NOT work. Another added feature is U DO NOT need your bf2 disc any more, when u start it up on other patches it normally reads the disc, but not any more. If you would like to switch it would be nice because im the only on in the clan so far who has.

The download for v1.5 is 1.9 GB!!! It's going to be another 6 hours before i can play...What maps do you guys recommend on 1.5

Are you going to get it? And if you do, you won't be able to play with me, but oh well. Make sure you got at least 2 - 4 GB of RAM or else it will CTD (Crash to desktop).

But, it is better if you get it I guess since you'll be able to play alongside the few, but fully patched Fox Company BF2 members

I have 2 gigs of RAM. Are the hardware reqs any different from normal BF2

Just saw this post, lol And imo hit detection is still bs, pumped a guy in the face with 3 bursts from and M16, and he's still alive

How do I know what type of RAMz0rz I got?

Check your comp settings or Xfire detect it
