| Springing Forward - Daylight Savings TimeWritten by: MSgt. Supersceptile It’s that time again. A time for many people in the world to set their clocks forward an hour, time for long hours of daylight, and time to, unfortunately, lose an hour of sleep. Daylight savings was proposed around the turn of the 20th century and implemented during World War I. Only a few countries used Daylight savings at first, however, the 1970s energy crisis caused this number to spike due to need for "longer-lasting" hours during this period. Remember to move your clock forward by an hour tonight before you sleep if you live within these regions, as the time officially changes at 2 AM Sunday, March 10th, this year. |

| Its pretty complicated sam, different regions do/don't do it, some do it at different times, etc. Some states and counties do it differently from their regions, etc. - redviper911 wrote:

| Trying to adjust to Daylight Savings Time is proving harder than I had expected. I'm suddenly late for everything. |
