So I just got grounded from my 360 because "I'm 16 and don't have a job" and my dad said he'll take away my pc and computer if I dont get one by June. So I thought I'd come and ask if any of you who have a job have any tips on getting my first one so I dont have to go all summer without being able to talk to anyone from the 13th D:

Yeah I've tried putting in an app at all the stores I know of, but no luck so far :/

Good luck, with this economy I can't find sh*t for a job and I'm 21.

Good luck man, hey I was looking for a job from July of last year up to today, I got a call for an interview. And Im 16 too.

lol thats awkward if i apply here in the netherlands for it they will almost immediatly accept me
but i wont do it cuz its chaos in the mcdonalds and burger king

Unfortunately, the economy is horrible right now. Your only luck given you don't have any work experience is retail but even then, it's tough to get a job.

You might try mowing lawns or even a paper route if your father is still threatening to take away your computer/Xbox.

The library was the one place I didnt think of Im gonna get an application to be a "student Assistant" tomorrow after school. I dont even care how much I get paid, I just want meh xbox back XD

it's just a suggestion, but i get a work on a local internet cafe near my house, how i got it??? simple, well not so simple, i used to go to this place often and began to know the owner of this place, so i made friend with the owner, now he has some familiar problems and he have to travel to other city and he let me to be in charge of this place.
is nice way to earn some money and met some people. (well when he comes back i just going to earn the 35% of the earnings, well its not bad iu must see how many people go).
well the point is go to a localcyber and see wht happens

Im 16 i work on weekends at the farmers market, i dont know if you have a farmers market where live. But everyone at a farmers market is nice. You should have no trouble getting a job there. (not great pay though, but its a job). Another plus if your under 18 most places at the farmers market dont give you a check just hard cash, with no taxes out.

Why not ask your friends and such that have jobs about any positions available where they work?

Lol 16, not many jobs i know of for someone thats 16... but try like Volunteer work, or what someone said about the libary.

Do your parents mind if its volunteer work?

Like you would get accepted immediately over here if you volunteered for the Soup Patrol.

Try a local electronics/gaming store or something. Then you would get into the environment most of us are most comfortable in.

I've been trying to get into that department for years, I know more than most of the people who work in those departments. lol
