Greetings,

The Command Element is pleased to release the updated version of the "Boot Camp Manual" and the "Boot Camp Examination Test" for our up-and-coming members and a overhaul of the whole entry process--replaced by a much simpler process.

The Boot Camp Manual contains more information but is easier to read through being more precise and a more professional format and look. All members are encouraged to look over the new Manual. The new Test is much shorter (60% fewer questions) and the questions are more accurate and better relate to likely situations that arise within the Clan.



The way the Entry Process will now work is as follows:

1) Potential Recruit registers and applies
2) Recruit is approved and completes Trial Period (Boot Camp)
2.1 - Recruit learns clan structure, rules and regulations, etc through Boot Camp Manual
2.2 - Recruit completes shorter Boot Camp Examination Test.
2.3 - Recruit gets to know clan and potential future unit
2.4 - Recruit becomes a full member and is assigned to first unit

2.1 through 2.3 points do not necessarily happen or have to happen in order.



With the new Trial Period, recruits are able to try us out without becoming full-fledged members. Furthermore, this will decrease administrative work and provide a more accurate number of active members on our clan roster. Hope to start the Trial Period process at least by March 1st. Hope everyone likes the changes.

Trial period is quite a good idea. Along with the other changes this is all very nice! Great job guys

The Trial Period portion of Boot Camp will start March 31st (because April 1st is April Fools Day).

After reviewing the BC test (new one), and the rules themselves. I think this is a big step forward.

However, I think we still need to go over a few minor details for recruitment as I've been hearing a few complaints from members lately. I am unsure why I was receiving the email in the first place, and I won't name any names, but I think it was a big reality check as to our recruitment criteria.

I will be trying to speak to Bronx and a few more of the Higher ups to see what their opinion is on the matter. I already have my thoughts, but I want to get theirs, and possibly the majority vote of the clan itself before anything goes into effect if it does.
