Battlefield 3 PC: Medieval Zombies

On Saturday February 16th, the 13th MEU Battlfield Division will be travelling back in time to ward off an undead army. The Time Machine means that they can't take any modern weapons with them, and will be left with just crossbows to attempt to neutralise the zombie outbreak, and stop the end of the world. The zombies are understood to be weaker than modern zombies, and the crossbow should be just about enough to take them out.

Help save the world, Feb 16th 19:30GMT/20:30CET/14:30 EST/6:30AEDT running right through the night. Good luck marines!

It's the only reason Scavenger mode was created

Wrong, it was made so people could obtain the crossbow so then you could host the event

BTW, are any type of bolts allowed? Explosive bolts are gonna be helpful to take the guys out

Not positive on that yet, but I assume explosive bolts would not be allowed, for more or less obvious reasons. We don't want it to be impossible for zombies to win... However regular, balanced, and scan bolts (if you wanted to use scan bolts) will be allowed. No pistols either, but knives are allowed if you wanted to knife a zombie

I love taking out sniper/campers across the map with scopedxbow/balanced bolts, its the little things that make a round

I keep getting taken out by guys like Shady when sniping from the crane on noshahr canals.

Some normal guys will act as zombies. they will only attack with knives/ACB-90

Well this is going to be very interesting

If you want some practice then just do some TDM on Noshahr and you'll get used to it. He'll of a lot of fun, and humiliating for the enemy

Come on ed, you also have events like zombies on P4F.(though no crossbow. )

Zombies is every so often near practice or when some peeps want fun. BF3 events make front page news, with a hell of a lot of people participating and a hell of a lot of fun

Really, the only thing P4F has got near to compared to BF3 events was the might Operation Kingfish

so....... this is kinda of a mod or what? I don't see any other way to "spawn" zombies on that game...
