|  Anyone who has followed the COD franchise knows that the Modern Warfare saga has pretty much come to a close. Rumors have been circulating as to what the next Infinity Ward COD game will be about. Rumors have been swirling about the next COD game to be entitled Call of Duty: Ghosts. Speculative details place the timeframe of this game in the near future but some sort of "event" makes it so current generation weapons have to be used in this near future reality. The above screenshot is from a UK based superstore chain called Tesco. It puts the supposed "leaked" box art of the game up along with the availability to pre-order. Just wanted to share this and to get reactions. |

| I first heard about Ghosts from Drift0r (since I sub to him and all). He described his source as "a person I would trust with my life," so just seeing more info about this leaking on the internet just seems to further legitimize the idea that the next Call of Duty will indeed be CoD: Ghosts.
Personally, I don't see myself getting this particular Call of Duty game early on because I honestly prefer Treyarch's CoD games and Battlefield 4 comes out this year, which I am prioritizing in my purchasing queue. |

| Well, I suspect that this new COD is trying to go away from the Modern Warfare part of the series, including its characters. I don't suspect to see this game having any reference to Modern Warfare's Ghost. |

Also a later-than-usual release date ("30/12/13"). |

| I think that's just a place holder date because the company doesn't know the exact date of when it's going to be released. |

Yeah that makes more sense...it wouldn't do much to release a game on the day before a holiday (pretty much is a holiday itself--that whole week is really) |
