It's a long story so I'll keep it simple.

We are invited to play ArmA 2 (or ArmA 2: Free) Battle Day. We will play with 3 other clans to a certain objective(s). EDIT: It is actually a clan deathmatch (1v1v1v1)
We can have max 20 players. Date is not set. We have new info!

I used to play Arma 2 religiously. This sounds like it could be a lot of fun so I'm definitely in.

Yes, players who have Arma 2 can play together with players who have Arma 2 Free.

There is no minimum, but If we play really good, we won't need more players!

That's what I wanted to ask. You say no Date, but is there some estimate? Like in a few weeks, month?

I'm not really sure. The other clan that is organising the event still hasn't found a server.
(oh and btw, if anyone has a monster of a computer, a great internet connection and want to host a server, let me know)

I think that the event should be in about 2-5 weeks. We should get together this weekend and do some practice, like basic communication and tactics.

Practice is a good idea, and if the other team has even a smidget of skill, then I'll need to go to that. Would the practice be this weekend officially then? You say that the event may be in about 2-5 weeks, so if that's true we have all that time to have practice dates. I guess my question would be what time is good for everyone?

if someone wants to ship me a computer capable of running even the simplest arma, then im down haahha

i have to get my friends GPU and put it into my desktop some time, put me on a "maybe" list if there is one And i will PM you once its installed and ready to go.

Since we'll be combined, I would say Afternoon(EST)/Evenings(GMT). Unless Europe wants to stay up later or NA wake up earlier.

Server: one option is to have a "donations box" maybe all the clans can pool in money to get a server for one month. One person from each clan can be admins.

If your talikng weekends trister, i'm willing to wake up earlier.

Put me on a maybe also i have it on my pc but havent played it really so ill check it out and let you guys know. Should be building my new pc Hopefully sometime soon. need to come up with $900 first...
