The game is similar to P4F, at first but runs on unreal engine: - so far in CB is free and pretty much win on free stuff, - you can customize your weapon, - equip electronic nades, shock grenades(that gets your screen blurry as an black&white TV with a room antena ) toxic nade - this one also gets you screen muddy --- one actually gets you BSOD which is kinda creepy, - ressurect/heal abilities *yet haven't tried any of those*, - you can make a barricade from a shield you carry on your back which protect your back from bullets -THE cool stuff is a HARD SUIT (close to the one in the logo) which you can use - like those in Avatar --- Flamethrower, nade luncher, stun mine, turrets, stinger(rocket luncher) - burnning bullets, electrical bullets and much more stuff

I received the Alpha test email but was never able to install it. Seems like it would be good from the videos I've watched. Maybe a replacement for P4F, or an addition.

First time I downloaded and installed it kept crashing on startup. So I went into the Blacklight Retribution/live/data pathway and deleted the BLR_Client.hogg file (the size of the game itself basically). I'm not able to update and patch but need to do it from scratch. But its a lot faster patching this way than off the website.
Am pretty excited to see this game (I hope I can run it first though)

Hehe :p
Well I tried the game just now and I'm getting about 15-25 framerates, much better than BC2, but not the best--definitely still playable though.
Pretty cool game though

I agree Bronx, it's good can't cope with the lag though, I like the in-built stuff for clans and stuff, plus there is too much too think about for customization at the moment, i'll play it again tomorrow

Account made. I am probably running it at 30 FPS. No lag what-so-ever, except when using the FlameThrower. Get on!
[EDIT:] Anyone else game is constantly crashing?

Actually kinda nice game, action is faster than in BF Play4free, a lot of costumization options. No silly lags, then costumizing characters, weapons, or no Loading player customization lags. And map load lighning fast too

I tried it, but I prolly never went above 20 FPS. It looks like a fantastic game, but I couldn't play well in the lag sadly.

It's a shame that is. That's why I play P4F, it's graphics are crappy enough to run on my Laptop Edster, what fps do you get on P4F? I want to get an estimate of how bad it would be on mine.

Well I've never really tested that. I play on low settings and it runs smoothly enough. I can't get on Play4Free today, but first thing tomorrow morning I'll test it out and get back to ya.

I run Battlefield: Play4Free on High Video Settings, and a High Hardware Audio Render. It runs at 50-60 FPS.
I can run Bad Company 2 on Medium, and the Frostbite 1.5 is stronger than the Unreal 1.0 Engine, so I run the game on High, but it cost me 30 FPS. I bet if run it on Medium, I can run it at 50-60 FPS.
