Where does your family come from?

I am a heavy mixture of things.

Mom's Side:
My Great-Grandmother ~ Russia
My Great-Grandfather ~ Germany
My Grandmother ~ German/Russian
My Grandfather ~ German/ Blackfoot Indian

Dad's Side:
My Great-Grandmother ~ Spain
My Great-Grandfather ~ Spain
My Grandmother ~ America
My Grandfather ~ Spain

That's all I really know. I have a pic of my Father's Dad's Grandparent's from Spain, after they immigrated here in 1913. This pic is from their Wedding Day which was taken here in Lovelock, NV. They are only 16, and the year is 1916. Their names are Antonio & Rufina Gandiaga. Sadly, I never got to meet them, as she died when a bookcase fell on her, and he died in 1988, at the ripe ol' age of 88.



Here are my Father's Mother's Parents (Got to meet them, still remember them a lot. Sadly, they were both off'd by Cancer... ugh.) Their names are William & Betty Beaty.

The one on the left is my grandpa Joseph (Juddy) and the one on my right is my grandma Imogene (Emer), the picture was taken probably around 1949. When they were moving my great grand parents off the farm and into town. I'm Joseph the third

That is my great grandpa John Schwab with his accordian. The picture was probably taken around 1930 but i'm not sure.

The last pic is of my ancestors farm built in the 1880s, it is insulated with sod and my dad who was born in '72 grew up there. My great-great grandpa Lawrence is sitting in the middle with his wife Regina. The rest of the people are their 12 kids.

Dad's side:
Well, since dad is adopted he don't know all that very much, but at least I know someone back there came from Finland, and one guy from Russia. Other than that my dad's side is pretty much Norwegian and sàmi

Mom's side:
Great-grandmother: Iceland

I haven't asked that much but all in all my family come from Finland, Russia, Iceland and Norway.

Dont really know much about my roots. I know that its like a mixture between dutch german and a southern european country. But its hard to find out since there is almost nobody who has the same last name as I do and theres almost no records where I live

As for myself, I just really only know that at least from my Mom's side that I come from the Balkans area. Yugoslavia, Bosnia, etc.

Don't really know that much from my Dad's side since he was adopted. I just know that his biological father grew up in Alaska.

All from Morocco. Some came from Moorish Spain and present day Saudi Arabia back in the crusades.

Well if we go back like 500 years i have some roots from Belgium on my Dad's side. My mothers side i don't really know but the last 100 years is Sweden at least. But Sweden is the best country so why not have the whole family from Sweden?
