Okay, First off, I want to say. THIS IS NOT A RELEASE.
This is just a little sneak peek of it.

Okay, So, Me and Spino Prime have been creating a web browser in Visual Basic 2008.
And, We've gotten pretty far on it, So... I'm gonna post some of the features of it.
FEATURES
Google Search Bar - Simple Google search bar just like you'd see on I.E. or Firefox. Thanks to NukedU for finding this code.
Safe Mode - Have some kids or a sibling around and don't want them to change your page, etc? This safe mode is password protected. It takes out the google search bar, The URL Bar, The URL "Go" Button, The Back and Forwards Buttons. So you are basically stuck on one page! This is also password protected! (To turn it on, Enter a password, You have to enter that password if you want to turn it off. However, Does not save the password)
Book Marks - Fully working bookmarks. Thanks to Spino Prime for figuring out this tough code!
Bug Report Tool - Fully working bug reporting tool. Me and Spino have created an email for the web browser and it sends bug reports right to it! Credits for this to Spino Prime and NukedU!
Working Buttons - Fully functioning buttons, Refresh, Forwards, Backwards, Stop the loading page, And more!

SOON-TO-COME (IN PROGRESS)
Tabbed Browsing - Fully functioning tabs! Spino Prime is working his hardest to try to get this feature working!
Home Page Changing - Don't want your homepage to be the 13th MEU's Home page? You can change it with this tool! Both Spino Prime and NukedU Are working hard on this feature!
Different Search Bars - Don't want to search Google? Want to search Yahoo, Bing, Etc? Spino Prime is working hard on this!
GUI (Theme/Style) - Want a cooler GUI/Style? NukedU is working hard on a cool theme for the web browser!

So, We will soon be needing some beta testers (For a closed beta)...
Once we need testers, We will most likely post an "Application" To become a beta tester!

B/c FF is a little slow for me. But, on IE I cant view embedded videos or stuff.

Not based on either one of Firefox or Internet Explorer.
Its gonna be compact, And very fast.

After me and Spino decided to make this thread we agreed we wouldn't release any beta test dates or release dates.
Just that the beta testing will be in the near future...

And he's gotten a few more features working:
Home page - The home page changing tool is now finished!
Searching - You can now search 4 search engines! Google, Bing, Yahoo, Or why not search through the 13th MEU Forums?

Soooo, The only 2 major things we have left are:
Tabbed Browsing - Of course we saved the hardest thing till last!
GUI/Theme - Of course, The GUI Is important too!

Great Job!

However, what happened to the tech team? Not to say the rest of us work on it but just asking what happened to it.

But, Remember to note, This is NOT Visual C++!
This is Visual Basic...
But, This also means to run the program you will need the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5...
Comes with Windows Update on Vista And 7 (I think)...
But if you don't have it, I suggest you update to it now before the release!

Edit: Oh! I forgot to mention, You don't have to have the Framework 3.5... You can have anything above... I'm running with the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Beta 2!

Its coming along GREAT!
Our main thing right now to get working is still tabbed browsing!
We have a SOMEWHAT Working function.
Today I will be working on designs and some bug fixes....
We had a major error that set us back, All the button design names changed (Like Button2 changed to Button22 or something), So, I am working on getting that done.
The main problem with the button name change was the safe mode, But I've fixed that!
