Is anyone here serious about graphic design and what they do?

I mean, I design for magazines, artists, clubs, you name it. I started off when I was 13 just messing around with GIMP and such until I moved on to Photoshop CS5 which was quite a big transition for me and took some time to get used to

But now I'm able to afford my own things, pay for stuff myself and buy new equipment and everything for designing etc.

Does anyone else make money out of graphic design?

Well I don't make money of it cuz my age and I'm pretty bad to it aswell, but I started about 6 six months ago.

I do normally make Sport graphics, sigantures and Avatars.

I'm 14 and I make money xD You don't need to tell anyone your age Once you have a website/Facebook page, an email address and PayPal you're all set

well i make money sometimes doing office blueprints in Google Skectch Up, since i work with office furniture.

idk if that is inside the field of Graphic design

i actually know how to use CS5 from my graphics design class!
I dont actually sell design but i know how to make them!
In my graphics design class I learned how to make attractive ads!(and a whole bunch of other stuff lol)

P.S. Photoshop is still way better than CS5 in making graphic designs!

I am actually going to take a class in my Technology Course called Computer Aided Design. Excited.

i know its just that the photoshop part is better than CS5 indesign thing!

i started practicing and doin lil things for fun when i seen ppl on a forum from a game i used to play called 9Dragons there were " 9D artist" they basically made signatures for the entire community and i thought it was kool and decided to try it myself...

im still a beginner/starter still doin some basic things and learning a new thing here and there.. id actually rly love to get more involed with photoshop and become rly good at it and make money by doin designs for ppl and such.. just need someone to teach me and help me get better ^_^

I used to do it a long time ago, I just never sold anything. I never actually did anything I did for profit, and I've developed software and such as well. I did it because I enjoyed it and I've always been financially stable so it never was needed to change fields of work.

I do enjoy seeing others work and it is good to be in, especially if you have talen since you can make a buttload as a freelancer.

i make money part time, just for some small bushiness and what not. even made around $1000 in a year just making signatures for people online. I started back in high school, took 4 years of classes (3 years advanced, with 2 of those years being college sophomore level) and i basically just do it my self now, learn from other people. and basically once someone gives you (or at least me) the idea of what to do or what they want, i can do it in pretty much a week time.

lol, for some reason i just always feel the need to say that. i don't know if its cause i think it sounds cool or if its just cause im stupid.
