I'm not spending 60 bucks on a console port. Maybe when there's a steam sale on.

I really liked Oblivion but so far, I have found Skyrim to be total garbage. The swords feel like total crap when you slice through a enemy. Dual wielding is cool. Animations are total crap. Dragons flying backwards. Stupid AI partners and enemies. Poor optimization. The world is broken. The enemies are all things we have seen before but dragons. And the graphics are down right horrible for this time. MAXED OUT THEY ARE STILL HORRIBLE. I have been playing this game on my new upgraded rig maxed out and I only get like 30-40 FPS My specs: Intel Core i7 2600 3.4 GHz 560 GTX 8 Gigs DDR3
Skyrim has been a total disappointment and total garbage to me. I am going back to The Witcher 2 which has a great story, character development, solid gameplay, and good animations and graphics.

The swords are fine. They are pretty great.
Dual wielding is awesome.
Animations are fine.
So what if they fly backwards?
In any video game, never do you see intelligent AI. It's a huge issue for every game developer. Yes, some have it better, but others can't.
Optimization is a bit poor.
The world is mass, and I love exploring it. Shame on you.
Well, in your case, Call of Duty has some of the same perks, guns, killstreaks, equipment, and gameplay... It's fun, but honestly, you can't act like Modern Warfare 3 is any different from Modern Warfare 2 or Call of Duty 4.
Graphics don't matter. Sure, if I am playing a couple of hours of a game, and staring at the screen, I would like good graphics, but in the end, if it has good gameplay, I am fine with it. Also, Bethesda lacks a powerful engine, and from Oblivion to now; huge graphics update!
In the end it's your opinion, but I think everything you said could either be fixed, added, or is just a... ignorant complaint.

The swords felt like crap because it felt like they had no impact on the enemy. Dual Wielding was cool Animations were total crap, jumpy, and not natural. Dragons try to fly towards you to fight but you can't fight them because they are going backwards instead. It is fine to have poor AI... UNLESS IT IS THIS BAD WHERE THEY GET STUCK ON WALLS AND CAN'T DO CRAP! Optimization is a bit poor? Are you kidding me? The optimization is downright horrible on this game. Yeah I know that Call Of Duty has been the same over and over again and for me Modern Warfare 1 was still the best one because it brought so much new to the table. I know graphics don't matter but in a open world game, you kind of would like to have nice visuals that make you want to walk everywhere instead of quick traveling. Bethesda lacks a good engine because they can't make a good engine.

Morrowind: + The most in-depth of the three games, with more factions to join and greater character customisation. + The most challenging game. This could be perceived as a negative, but I know many people feel that Oblivion and Skyrim have been "dumbed down" and don't present much of a challenge to the hardcore gamer. - Graphics aside, Morrowind is probably the ugliest of the three environments. Hours spent trudging through the desert can get tedious after a while when there's nothing to see around you. - Weak combat mechanics. - Cliff Racers.
Oblivion: + Balance. Possibly the most balanced game of the series. You can't customise your character as much as you could in Morrowind, but you can customise him/her more than you can in Skyrim. This maybe reflects how Morrowind was too complex for some, and Skyrim too simple for others. + Most interesting game world. A matter of opinion (as most of this will be), but I'd say that Cyrodiil is the best setting for an Elder Scrolls game, and the Imperial City has been the best location in the series so far. + Patrick Stewart. - Easy. This could just come down to personal experience, but Oblivion was a very easy game. I could count on one hand the number of times that I died in Oblivion. Again, some might consider this to be a good thing, but I don't. - Creepy visuals. You know what I'm talking about, all of the NPC's look unnatural when you're talking to them.
Skyrim: + Dragon fights. The series up until this point really lacked in terms of meaningful boss battles. Sure, there was always the FINAL boss, or the boss at the end of a guild's quest line, but nothing really until that point. The dragon mechanic is fantastic, even if it's a little bit terrifying at the same time. + Combat feels so much better in Skyrim than the other two games. - Shallow. The removal of character stats was very controversial. I do quite enjoy the new levelling system, but it just doesn't feel like The Elder Scrolls. Did someone say, "Ye Olde Fallout"? That's certainly what it feels like to me sometimes.
So I hope that you can see the strengths and weaknesses of each game, or at least the logic behind my opinions, in those brief lists. In terms of playing these games today, you have to say that Skyrim is the best, followed by Morrowind and then Oblivion last.
