| well, it's pretty hard to keep people popping onto TS interested without being able to communicate xD is there anyone out ther ethat actually know russian? we had a dude coming in and nobody could help him get all the info he wanted nor did anyone know somebody in the clan that speaks russian that they could contact and get on to help O_o
I think it could be wise to have it so people can put in what languages they speak on their profiles, and have like a list so if somebody pop onto TS, a member can just go and check that list for somebody that can pop on and help the new person out that actually speak their language, if the first member who was there can't communicate with them.
any other suggestions that might help out in these situations for the most effective result? |

| Hmmm, since you were in TS, you could have used a web transulator to chat with the fellow. The issue is that it isn't easy to contact someone through here. I was playing this turn-base game for 3 years and we all had each others phone numbers to text if something needed to be done in the last few seconds of the turn. That envirnoment or comfortablity doesn't exist here, well hardly.
I think the best thing would be to use a web transulator to point them in the right direction. The other thing we could do is have different languages on the website. Not the forums but, for registrations, boot camp, and manual. |

| If you click on a person, you see what country they are from. Most of the times, you know what language they speak then. Google translate can help here, or other known members that speak that language. Also, that's why I made the language channels, more can be added. If somebody comes on our TS, they'll go to the (public) channel of their language, so we know what they speak if we want to make contact. |

| @Trister the easiest way would simply be if people actually started USING Xfire instead of just getting an account for registration here. then it's possible to reach them even if they're ingame and all. google translate in all honor.. but missunderstand me correctly: I ain't using that to point a recruit in the right direction while I'm ingame, for a clan I ain't part of, when I've already gotten a few new recruits to join xD @Vanhoucke yeah true about the channels, but that only helps if someone speaking that language is online :P - vanhoucke wrote:

I ain't clicking around everyone's name on the forum just to see what language they speak, to help a possible recruit xD although, it should be pretty simple to organize a page that order people's names depending on their selected language on their profile here, that way you'd simply just look under the right letter to see who spoke the language, check on Xfire if they're online and then just ask them if they can help out. |

| Note: there are some dutch guys using our TS server (3-4 of them). They are mostly in the Dutch channel. If server gets too crowded, they may be kicked by CoC.
But if we have enough slots, they may use the server too. |
