Battlefield 3's beta and release is fast approaching. With that will come new recruits and members interested in joining the 13th MEU. One way to reach new recruits is through videos (whether that be a machinima, education video, or propaganda film), as I've heard from feedback, my jump wings video attracted some members. Since I'm not going to be in a direct leadership (SL) role I will have some more free time to do things like make movies, one of my old past times, so I was wondering who would be interested in either helping me write scripts, film, act in, or in other behind the scenes processes (like editing or voice acting). While I can do all them and I have the know-how, and have done them, it's much smoother with other people in the process.

Things you guys might be interested in (Either contact me through Xfire or PM):

Actors - Self Explanatory, have to be able to take direction well
Voice Over artists - Needed for good videos sometimes ( High Quality microphone is a must)
Script Writers or Film Ideas - Any ideas that you guys might have for videos, feel free to pitch to me, or write your own script, I know you guys have some cool S*** in your heads =P.
Technical Workers - Whether that be film editing or directing, let me know of your specialties, (I'm pretty good at most everything, but you might be much better at one thing)

Completely irrelevant, but no, he's a German Wehrmacht infantry officer, assistant to General/Feldmarschall Helmuth Weidling, from the film Der Untergang (Downfall). Do you see any SS lighting bolt neck tags or a totenkampf on his visor cap? Not all Germans were National Socialists/Nazis. Just like I don't automatically think your signiture, metsman, is a Nazi.

Guys if you dont know any history about german world war 2 millitary then dont talk about it. Becuase you may offend other members or somthin. That aint a Nazi officer thats a german commander if you saw a patch on the side that had the nazi swistakas then he is a nazi but I dont belive ghost would do that.

It's true there's hundred of horrible stories from WWII. But you most also remember the stories of the ones who risked their own life to save people. For example, Wilhelm Hosenfeld; a German Officer who helped many persons escape—including Jews—during the Nazi Occupation on Poland.

Well, I have all the software that you're using, I'm a good voice over (I liekz commentating!), and I in terms of video editing, I personally don't like to take away the centre focus of the video, but I know how to (and have done so) make a video look good.

As I discussed with Ghost, I can act, voice-over, and script-write. I'm actually very good at script-writing, once we start on that stuff, I can send the scripts via chat or email or PM or something . And yeah, I'm really equipped. Oh BTW, NMD, you want to be involved in acting? Let's have NMD as the main actor (jk lol). I'm also sure many of the new members of my squad will be happy to participate in the film.

Firstly I know alot about history so dont think I am saying stuiped remarks. If your Polish sorry about what happened then I was just trying to say that he was not a Nazi in order to stop any misunderstandings. Also I know alot of war crimes have occured during world war 2 mostly on the Axis side (japanese, Germans) but also the allies sometimes. Now I might not know the inside of what happened to Poland but I believe I know a good amount of history to know what happened to poland during world war 2. Now can we ened this argument.

Behind enemy lines. 2 squads being trapped in the mountains of modern russia becouse their chopper got shot down. The pilot dies first... the squads are trying to contact their command..so they agree going up the some cliff. After a while they succeed, but a guy slips on the edge and dies. Unfortunately a Russian grunt sees the body while he's peeing.. so the whole base is on their feet. The squads have a LZ set, so their are fighting their way to the extraction point.. only 3 of them succeed but one is bleeding bad.. he dies in the chopper.
