Remember Battlelog? It is a system for connectivity and social networking for BF3. Well, it's first images have finally surfaced... this ones were posted by the German battlefield blog and they were quickly removed, but most news pages managed to get them.

The webpage looks like a weird combination between the P4F webpage, Facebook, and the BF:BC2 in-game menus. It might be usefull, but it also helps support my fears that the game might only be playable threw the website—like P4F and BFH—and all the problems that this usually involves.

Also, http://bf3blog.com posted some very interesting pictures from the alpha version. I'm posting them here becouse one of them has a picture of the server browser, which seems to be threw Battlelog...

Doesn't look like the draw distance is high looking at the pic with the APC in water, the buildings on the right look sketched. Dunno if that's just because it's alpha, or they've made it only rendered in HD at certain range for increased performance.

it might just be because they dont have the CDs yet

wow look at the amount of i3d.net amsterdam servers :O

seems like dice is keeping the bf2 rule that a company must host 10 servers at own cost before they're allowed to rent ranked servers to people :p ah well the better for us players
