| Should've gone with the i7 2600k much better in games especially when you comapre the price. graphics card is a beast 1fps faster when overclocked then the 590 but at stock speeds remains 1 fps slower then 590. edit: if you have bought it and recieved then shame if you haven't could save you a bit of money on that build bring it down to the price of a small car instead of a house |

| Yeah it cost me like some BMW M3 (older versions) i really don't like Intel i bought 990x because its best CPU currently on the market. Maybe i should wait for Amd Bulldozer with 8 cores idk... For me i7 2600k sucks no offence! and btw 6990 Quad-CrossFire eats nvidia 590 in quad sli for breakfast. |

What I say in the following is not in anyway meant to downgrade how awesome your computer is but you could have saved a lot of money with an alternative build and used the spare cash to upgrade sooner, later Saying it sucks is a really biased view lol. It really does out perform the 990x extreme edition in all but the most intense tasks such as video processing and encryption it's also 3x times and a hell lot more energy efficient when over clocked. Keeping it cool at clocks over 4.5ghz on air cooling. The 590 is also faster then the 6990 only at higher resolutions does the 6990 get an edge and that's only at a tiny 1fps in battlefield 2 also may have 1 or two issues with driver support lol. AMD bulldozer will be like the 980 lots of processing power but lacking the speed to game faster then the sandy bridge series architecture I presume at least still going to upgrade to the bulldozer chip set lol |

| minecraft is hard to run properly, nice rig you got there, but the thing is, you have to keep updating all of your hardware, which means you will be putting a lot into it in the future. |

| How do you pay for this stuff?? And the sad part is, its gonna be outdated in 1.5-2 years. xD
Edit: You know, you could have gotten an 240Gb SSD with the money saved by not using a 990x. SSDs are 1337, especially if you need a fast drive to temporarily save to while Frapsing. |

| Nice rig. You might not spend as much in electricity as you might think, unless your pushing the system a lot or all the time. Some higher i series have a dual power mode + boost. So while your sitting three surfing the web, you wouldn't use as much power as gaming or heavy video editing.
Looks like the only bottleneck is the hard drive but you'd never find an SSD with that size... Yet. Plus they're more expensive.
More like outdated in 6 months to a year. That beast should last you at least 5 years when dx12, 14 core 10ghz, 5tb, and the "gloves" (minority reports) come out. |
