Stupid. Anybody who pays for that is a complete moron. First off, what's so attractive about this? You're pretty much just getting something Halo has for free with the online stats and all..

The video is funny... This guy should do all gaming tutorials.
It does have potential but, paying for stuff that others offer for free? If anything I would join this as far as free takes me. If it proves to be worthy, then maybe.
That's one thing I'll liked about MW; theater mode. Would be nice if BF3 included one.

Ehh..not interested in this.
I just don't want to keep shelling out money for more "connectivity". Honestly, they should have invested that money into making Elite and put it into making more dedicated servers.

I'm aware of that. If you do pay for it, or should I say, mommy and daddy pay for it, then damn, you're getting dicked up the butt.

GameSpot just wrote an article on Jun 3rd. They've explained a little be more on what comes with the free part of the Elite service. I've listed them below for a quick look. Activision still delcines to answer what exactly comes with the paid part.
-Access Elite through the Web, as well as via free applications for Android and iOS devices like smartphones and tablets. -Track and share with friends in-game statistics like kill/death ratio, score-per-minute, win percentage, and more, all shown in "easy to understand" charts and infographics. -Create custom leaderboards. -View heat maps indicating dangerous areas in levels where players die the most. -Upload and share videos from the game's Theater mode. -Customize a loadout, which includes choosing weapons, attachments, and perks, and transfer it to Modern Warfare 3 via Web or mobile. -Join groups with common interests. -Create clans. -Track Call of Duty career progress, beginning with Call of Duty: Black Ops. -Be placed into groups based on interests, as designated by Facebook profile listings.

I know its been a while since anyone posted on this topic but one things thats making me think about getting it is if you do buy it you get free DLC. talking to my friend today and he was saying that if you pay the 50 for it then youd save about 135ish on DLC.

That's definitely a good thing about Elite. All in all if you bought all of the DLC's separately along with the game, you'd end up paying about $70 more than if you just got premium Elite.

That's why I'm thinking it might be a good idea to get it if you buy DLC. I generally do so I'd save money getting elite.
