Dylantredrea, that was pretty interesting to hear a view point from the Russians. While they did do lot of fighting, and incur a lot of losses, they are responsible for some of them. Stalin wasn't all that great of a person or leader. He is responsible for many famines and death of his own people for nothing. He ordered massacres of Polish towns and villages. He only kept face, because victors write the history books.
Some of the Russian generals actually used tactics, and I'm at a blank for some of the names I used to know, but others were pretty much just charge the Germans. The tactics of the Russians were rather terrible compared to say their contemporary American and British, or even the Germans.
Russians seems to forget how much we (America more, but even Britain '41 onward) gave them in war supplies, when their weren't matched against the Germans. The amount of tanks and airplanes given, let the Russians hold against the Germans until the T-34 could be produced in numbers from their own factories. Had Americans not helped Britain or Russia, it would be a completely different world, to say the least.
Eh, I'm done ranting for now, haha. It's snowing outside and I want to play some World of Tanks.
