| What location would you guys think is best for our server to be located?
This will not decide where we will pick our server, it will however give us some background information to consider.

| I would just like to say, I would vote for where ever we have the most players from. How ever, since I didn't have that info, i voted for "my side of the pond" If everyone did that, maybe we can see who has more players. Just a thought. |

| I'm with widghet, wherever you have the most players. But it seems the results are pretty even so I guess that logic is out. There's this awesome website to test speed connection but it depends on what you have, what they have, and current network traffic. http://www.speedtest.net/I'd want one in the US simply so when the server goes down right before a perfect kill shot I can go to it and kick the eva living crap out of it. Either one is fine for me, but I'll pick US. |

| A good enough server should have any lag no matter which side of the pond its on. I remember playing 64 player COD4 on a server in Chicago from Ireland without any lag so maybe location isnt really an issue?
If that doesnt work out maybe we could alternate the server between EU and US every 6 months or so? |

| The setup cost are too high for switching every 6months.
But when we rent a server, the server provider will be the most important to make the decision.

| I think a US Server would b cheaper, even though i live in Germany. If you consider the euro/dollar rate it makes sense ;-( I earn in USD but pay some o my bills in Euro  For me the cost of living is like in hawaii. Just like the same amount of Battlefunds cost more in eur e.g. 4.99 USD for 700 Battlfunds 4.99 Eur for 700 Battlefunds and Lags really depend much on your own connection nowadays. |
