Have any of you been on a server where the squad leader takes a transport chopper to like 400 - 500 altitude...then he proceeds to fly over capture points of interest and everyone except the SL bails... everyone can spawn with the SL on the chopper and therefore this can be extremely effective strategy with BF2 ....I don't know how well this works on certain maps but on Dragon Valley it worked amazingly well...

Yeah its fun. I think the main objective of a SL is to make his SMs game more fun for them (also in the clan too right?) So I think a SL should stay alive as much as possible, not go ramboing, and not getting in 1seater jets and stuff.

I think I've done this with some guys here A cool trick you can do with this is fly up to 600 meters (or w/e its measured in) and then you'll be at such a high altitude you won't lose any if you switch seats (you know how if you switch seats in an aircraft it usually spins and dips down). That doesn't happen if you go 600 meters high. When I'm this high I usually get into the F6 or F5 and watch people fall.
