| Lol Ghostbeer I had a point with the Bitter Lemon story though, it's kind of a 2 part thing. The part I wrote earlier is the beginning of the story and the end of it is that one of the guys was called Sterling, a founder of the Special Air Service but at the time he was just a kind old man with a pipe and so I didn't listen conciously to what he was saying. If I was to be sat in that room now, with those now sadly deceased men, I'd have a wealth of questions and would probably write down everything that was said because there was a lot of hard won wisdom in that room and a lot of intelligence. It was that wisdom and intelligence that set them apart from others and with a lot of luck allowed them to survive and prosper in their chosen art, the application of force. Maybe we could do with an updated Sniper guide that draws upon the depth of wisdom within the clan to support any future classes in the area ? |

| While we're talking about Marsh Mellow Roasters, I read today the BC2 GOL is .338 Lapua.
Es Verdad? |

| Yeah for the GOL about 75% of my shots are med-long range are headshots, in CQ when quick-scoping I don't care whatever gets the job done |

| Why is this even a discussion??? There are members that certainly excel at recon, it is those members that need to be teaching the others what to do to be better, rather than flaunting it. |

| Just to add in my 2 cents.
I am about 9 out of 10 on target at 200 yds using my Ruger m77 mark II chambered in a 30-06. When I jump up to 400 yds I drop significantly. Still haven't figured out how much to compensate for the amount of bullet drop. Granted I've only taken it out twice, once to sight it in, and the 2nd time to practice. Can't hardly afford the $1 a round. Then there is also the fact that it kicks like a mule. I can only get about 10-15 shots down range before I start to get twitchy with the recoil.
Primal, Sarge, what do you guys shoot?
Anyone else enjoy long range shooting? |

| Deecon, I am 13. If I owned a gun my mother would kill me with it. She hates guns and war. But when I go to my dad's I shoot what ever he has. I plan on shooting a 45. Revolver this summer. I think it's a 45. Revolver. Hell I don't know what it is called. Let's just say it's illegal in some states because of the bullet it shoots |

| is it a golden gun? when i shoot, it is always at my uncles place near mt. hood. The AR15 with some sorta marksman scope is a pretty usual choice, but my personal favorite is the 30-06 M1A, which, as i'm sure you already know, is the civilian M14. The gun is a beast. Scary accurate when I use the bean bag. |
