| Subject: My BC2 Disc Gone Bad! Oh, No! Sun Jan 09, 2011 8:42 am | |
| I was playing earlier today, or, more like yesterday in the afternoon with ghost, nero, and all and my disc was working fine. I get off work I play some chodes of duty and then proceed to play BC2 a minute into the game, Xbox gives me a "The disc is unreadable clean that bad boy" So I do anyway with some anti-static cleaning wipes I have, I then notice a perfectly circular scratch, does not seem deep more of a surface scratch. One that seems to be caused from my xbox disc drive while playing a game, but I checked out another recent I game I recently played alot and it was fine. There are alot of outrageous and mostly non-working ways to clean a disc but I will not waste my time. Furthermore, I try playing once, twice, thrice more with woodson same thing a minute in. I don't to have to buy another copy of BC2 even used maybe an ole switchroo with BlockBuster if they still have it, doubt it though. Anyone else know of any solid methods to clean up a supposed "dirty" disc, I think I might air dust the inside of my Xbox lightly. Edit: Blockbuster in my area has copies available, I have two choice If I cannot repair the disc, do the ole switch-a-roo or download the disc to my xbox memory device(16GB USB) and another copy to a friends HD I suppose, but If I ever lose the download I am have to re-rent it arghhh. |

| try saving it to your harddrive if you have one. then a scratched disc really doesn't matter. if you can get it to at least save. |
