It seems like they had high marks for the overall storyline in the single player campaign of Black Ops but said that the feel of it is too familiar and doesn't really push the franchise forward.
My take: While I'll still be playing the single player mode eventually, I'm not at all concerned about it.
As far as multiplayer, IGN said the theater mode is a great addition. Very solid and tons of fun. Also, they did give low marks because the MP is pretty much the same feel as previous COD games. However, they still admit that it will be a lot of fun.
My take: The presentation and feel of MP maybe familiar but with the addition of Combat Training (great for squad practices), wager matches, gun games..I believe this game will be awesome.
