Hey i doent know if you knew this or not but on bc2 for the 360 only i have found out the clan tag glitch. meaning we can make our clan tag 13thmeu or 13thMarineExpeditionaryUnit or www13thmeuorg

How to do it: first go to store and go to one of the dlc with a green square

2. then redeem code and type in the clan tag (no spaces or other characters/ only a-z 0-9)

3. click yes and it will tell you the code is invalid.

4. press b and go to play with friends.

5. change clan tag (note: YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE A CLAN TAG) press x then start.

6. your clan tag is now there (note: if when you go to the clan tag and there are rectangles then repeat the process)

(major side note: if you turn of your 360 consel or go to the dashboard the long clan tag will disapear and you will have to repeat the process.)

Hmm, I'm not a 360 player but here's the reason why having a clan tag, such as "13th MEU" longer than the "13th" would be beneficial for recruitment:

As you can tell, the clan's forum page comes up as third when googled via "13th MEU".

Thing is though it's not giving us an advantage over others is it? Not a cheat or hack to help us, just something to help another out if they think " Hey that 13th meu squad is really well organised, they're constantly at the top of the leaderboards" etc. and if they decide to join they can just google it!

Simple method is to speak to an XBox Ambassador (Sekonda) and get their opinion as they're the ones that do teh banning.

In accordance with the ToS and CoC you are not breaching any cheating guidelines or hacking the console. If this is a glitch in the design of the game and you are not using it to your advantage, ie. 100 characters long so it disrupts what people see on screen, adding 6 more characters shouldn't be an issue but the glitch will eventually be fixed.

This is not an attempt to defraud or disrupt but if asked by someone to change the tag or someone deems that you are in someway infringing upon their game they can and probably will report you and you could be looked at for tampering.

It's based on opinion.

But as long as you can prove beyond doubt that you are in no way detracting from the game, infringing upon someone elses ability to play the game and are not using any external source or using it to gain an advantage over other players in the game you are not breaching the CoC for Xbox Live Players.

this tag glitch has to be done every time you turn on your xbox. the long names don't stay.
