Well, after using a shotgun to get a game winning kill, I decided to find out which shotgun is the best. Ive been using the Spas-12 and the Striker which are decent weapons since i recently prestiged, but I cant decide which is the best shotgun out of all of them. Ever since Model's were patched i stopped using them. Then I used the Masterkey shotgun which is the attatchment which has the best range. What do you guys prefer?

Best one imo is the Spas. Even though its pump action and therefore lacks speed if you want to take out a bunch of enemies. But that's not what its for is it? You use it for close quarters where you suspect one or two enemy is hiding. The SPAS holds a lot of range, I've heard it said that it almost equals that of the 1887's.
But its my personal favorite due to the 1 hit kill.

I like the AA-12 for close range (which is usually when I like to use it). Combined with FMJ and extended mags..it gives true meaning to the words "Street Sweeper".

You only get 1 magazine even then to "sweep".

I have to agree with tha spas. again, it might lack the abbility to take out 3+ enemies, but even if there are, just use it methodically: peek up, tag them, run and reload, rinse, repeat

as for the AA-12, even though its low range, thats when i use shotguns, so eh. the ammo is what concerns me

AA-12 if your a scrub who can't aim, but IMO the M1014. Masterkey is good in Hardcore you can practically snipe people with it.

By then you've pretty much given away your position so I really don't look at the AA-12 as a weapon I use a lot before I'm eventually shot. I do enjoy the M1014 because it is so accurate.

while it does help, if your primary is less acurate then a shotgun, somethigns wrong.
i look at it like you have to get in the enemies face and shoot them with scatter bulletz

Shotguns are good enough to be primaries. In CoD4 they were primary and they sucked.

or akimbo model 1887, use 1 shotgun at the time for a constant shotgun fire.but it ain't as powerfull as the M1014

I believe when the game first came out, shotties really weren't used that much as primaries. Now, that has changed especially with akimbo weapons. I pretty much use it for close quarters especially since I'm shooting for challenges for most of my assault rifles.

Spaz-12 Shotty is my favorite shotgun. I like it without steady-Aim so I get more of a shotgun feel. Also I don't use Shotties with a Sniper I use them with my LGM or AR. Just that's my preference.

I like the AA-12 it's quick and easy to use. Spas-12 is good too especially with extended mags .

I however DO NOT use shotguns for sniper rifles. I prefere a hand gun - or machine gun.

I combine the akimbo model with my AK and my Uzi, hell ya

I never use sniper, the snipering in BFH is so much different then in MW2 that i keep missing the target

number one no no- when using a sniper, unless u can quick/noscope, NEVER use a shotty, it limits ur range

I just took out a guy with a M1014 on the ramp of Quarry who thinks that the shot gun is known for its range. Did I mention I did it with a Spas?

The problem is when using a sniper - and im talking properly using a powerful side arm will hinder you to use the guns full potential so u just switch everytime to a shotty when u feel under pressure - I've noticed there are much less people using shotguns..

hand guns r the best because you can pull them out so quick.

But I'm horrendous with them, asking me to kill someone with a hand gun from 5-10 feet away is asking a sniper to nail people with a shotty.
