I'm watching Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel right now and it got me wondering if anyone here believes in them. I myself believe in ghosts, but I haven't seen any. I've had friends and family who have had encounters with them though. For example one of my friend's grandma's said she has seen a man who was dressed in early american clothes appear and disappear in her house. His dad, who lived in the house has also told us of things that he's experienced.

I belive there could be "some kind" of ghost, though man kind will never be able to answer that question. Only thing i dont belive are ghost hurting people, unless its somekind of Daemon...

Well I do believe that they exist, as for haunting people or places, no. I haven't personally seen one but the youth minister at my church has. He was at his job (manager of some restaurant) and it was after the place closed and they (him and some employees) were just cleaning up. He went into the front and saw a woman floating a few feet off the ground. He went to get his friends but of course when they returned, she was gone he did however see her for a good 15 seconds before he went to get his friends so he knew he hadn't just thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye.

I've never seen one, but when I go to my parent's gift store (to work, on weekends) I sometimes hear the door open and close by themselves. One day, my dad was outside taking out the gabage and then door just opened by itself. He said there was no wind outside...so the only explanation is a ghost
When I checked the cameras...the moment when the door magically opened "couldn't be found"

Thats pretty weird Lunch about the camera's not catching it, but do you think it could just be like the wind from another door closing inside the store causing that one to open or close?

Or the doors revolting and doesnt want to be close

I treat supernatural activity like religion.

That is that until provide hard evidence, I remain skeptical of their claims.

These believers in my opinions are individuals seeking attention from the media or suffering from mental instability where delusions and hallucinations may be a prevalent case.

i sit on the fence on this one. there are certainly things that happen that we can't explain, but then modern science is advancing so fast its helping us uncover these phenomena. they're also based in religious belief IMO. they could, or they couldn't
